I tried it out previously about 3 years ago and it wasn’t great. But tjis time around the menu has been revamped to include healthy and hearty options even for breakfast. I love that they making a huge effort in improving the menu. Price is decent, I love the variety of food option available here. Customer service is amazing . I highly recommend.

Thanksgiving meal was an incredible value at $10.05, although hot food selections were served at lukewarm temperature, not hot. Hard-to-find location unless you are familiar with the base layout.

They are good. Don’t compare *any* DFAC to your favorite restaurant, your family’s cooking, Haleiwa Joe’s, etc. As an American Soldier on island when you are on-base you should check your privilege, shut up, eat as clean/good as you can & keep it moving. You are the energy you give off and some people just *love* to complain, c’mon now.

Absolutely abysmal. The worst DFAC on Schofield and its not even close. It’s actually mind-boggling. When they change their schedule, there is no type of public announcement, or message that gets sent out on any social media, or SMS. No sign on the doors. Soldiers are then forced; those who live near K-quad, those who are in-processing, those who are on duty, in an hour and a half to walk to another DFAC usually a mile and a half away, eat, and then return to duty by 1300. For those who have no car, this is nearly impossible (when the expectation and scheduling states both breakfast and lunch would be available at said DFAC for the week)

Our clinic loves to eat here. We always come here for soul food and the big holidays like Thanksgiving and the Army birthday. It’s so cheap and the food is usually pretty good.

Never thought I’d be doing a review on a DFAC, but here goes. This place is good sometimes, but recently it’s just been bad. The cooks are slow, there’s almost always only one side open, during breakfast most of the side dishes are already gone and you literally have to ask someone to bring it out. There’s no good cereal past the first thirty minutes, thats my personal gripe. Also, the chicken is dry and the hard boiled eggs stock to the shell, who can mess that up? Other than that, the milk is good and the Mac n cheese is sub-par and only constipated me if there’s half a block of semi melted cheese in my scoop. Solid 3/10.

They greedy with their portion size & they swear it’s a VIP club. Can’t let mfrs in when they clearly got so much room.

This is not a restaurant. This is a DFAC. There’s a difference.

One of the better DFacs I’ve been to. Quality fluctuates depending on which NCOs are working. Soldiers have won consistently best DFAC and best culinary specialists on the island a few years running.

It’s always freezing in here. They set food on one side and drinks the other so you have to go all the way around. Food is not bad. Always have chips or cereal available.
