I was hesitant in having sushi being so far away from the ocean, but this place really nailed it. I had the Boulder roll, salmon avocado & rainbow roll, accompanied by a small hot sake. All rolls were excellent and tasted incredibly fresh! I very much appreciate the hospitality I received here. ありがとう ☺️

I found the food to be decent but not exceptional. The portion sizes were notably small for the high price per item. After being informed that take-out wasn’t an option, I opted to dine-in. Ended up waiting 45 minutes for my order after the water was dropped off and order was placed. After waving down staff I was told my meal was being plated…then requested it to be packed for take-out due to the near hour I had been there already.

Wonderful experience here. It is the first sushi place to open in Boulder 37 years ago. The food was very fresh and well presented. My partner and I sat at the sushi bar and you can order as you finish each roll. We ordered the Hamachi Nigiri, Boulder roll , z no 9, and premium firecracker roll. For desserts, green tea and mango mochi.

Amazing sushi, so tasty. The decor inside is really warm and welcoming. The sushi was average priced. The servers are very friendly but I feel like if you need faster service definitely sit at the bar- when we came in (group of 4 at 530) there weren’t a ton of people there a d we ordered mostly sashimi but everything took around 40 minutes. Worth the wait for how good it was! Just plan accordingly. The soda options are good and the yuzu-rita was tasty. Dont miss happy hour! And if you’re celebrating a Birthday you should tell them for sure 😉

The sushi was good but I thought it was a little overpriced. Service was fine but the restaurant atmosphere was cool. They had some daily specials that were good and worth checking out.

The best sushi in Boulder. The atmosphere was great, the sushi chefs were very kind and knowledgeable. We waited 30 minutes to get seated but the experience and food was well worth it. We sat at the sushi bar and had the owner of the restaurant sitting next to us and he was a very kind man. The sushi was clearly made with love as every bite was delicious and visually appealing. Thank you for a great birthday dinner.

The food is here is simply divine. Pretty good prices for Boulder. The staff and atmosphere are so fun and you feel really relaxed there. Would definitely recommend this place to other people.

this place is one of if not the best sushi places in boulder I have been here a multitude of times and have never had a bad moment. the service is amazing and the food always tastes great. They also have some rather unique dishes and areas in the building such as the tea house table in a small room in the back.

The sushi tastes good but not great. Sushi can be costly but this was more than expected for the quality. The inside space is tight with tables very close to each other. It’s a very casual environment and not high end.

Just booked a tatami room for my daughter’s 9th bday, started out ok, but then service started to be absent once they got busier, the tatami room behind us seem to get extra service, while we began to get less. Maybe because we had kids, too bad! We are service industry pros, and would have topped like a pro, well your loss. Should have helped us make our daughter’s day special, you all ruined it and had us there for 2 hrs, dessert was wrong, so kids had no cake, such a bummer, never will I come back, plus 12 dollars for a shrimp tempura roll! Seriously, pretending to be upscale, but mediocre. Very disappointing!
