TASTY fresh sushi! This place is ran by the most inviting couple. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Fish was fresh and the tempura was hot and crispy. It’s not a fancy place but it’s clean and good sushi. Oh the salad-its like a Japanese Caesar. Very original!

I have not eaten at Sushi Wazen since it opened up, but having moved closer to the area, they have definitely become our number 1 pick for local sushi. The fish quality as well as the skills of the chef was exceptional. The professionality and friendliness of the staff made us feel very comfortable and enjoyed every moment at the restaurant. My only negative critique was that the wait was a tad longer than we would have liked, but they did explain to us that the kitchen chef was not feeling well, and went home. I can’t wait to come back again!

Consistent and delicious. Family run with one sushi chef, so if there’s something you like, order it again the next time and it will be just as good (if not better). This is our go-to.

We had an amazing dinner at this mom and pop restaurant. The quality of fish was really good and everything tasted like an authentic Japanese sushi. I like places where they keep their rolls simple without crazy sauces all over. Dishes may get served a bit slow, since we only saw an elderly couple in the kitchen. We will definitely go back soon!

I came here for sushi and ended up ordering a little of everything. This is the best restaurant I’ve been to in the last week. The combo menu is the best value… I could eat here every night. The salmon skin salad was just amazing.

I accidentally wandered into this place while waiting for my car at Pep boys. The food was great, the place was filled with regulars who all knew each other. The chef served tempura of veggies from her own garden. I need to go back there.

There was a small translation issue when placing our tables order (I asked for all vegetarian for 2 meals and only part of them was vegetarian). Chef (owner?) started yelling openly at our server in Japanese, but seems he was more angry at me for the mistake since he offered nothing to fix the issue. Completely unprofessional and unnecessary. He did nothing to apologize or make the order right. Come on man… Is it really so difficult is it to quickly slice some cucumber and avocado and roll it up? Can’t afford to spare half a cucumber and quarter of an avocado customers paying $120+? Didn’t have time to make a avocado roll even when we were the only diners there for most the evening? We came several times before and never had a problem with getting vegetarian before or being harassed. Will not be returning. On top of all this, food was slow to come out, and they insist they will charge 3.5% if you pay with credit card. Not surprised this restaurant seems to be struggling.

Absolutely awful shrimp and veggie tempura. Chicken teriyaki was awful- bland probably boiled or mircowaved. Sushi roll was gross- had yellowtail. Scallop sushi was gross. I was extremely disappointed with the entire meal. Even their house salad has a weird mayo based dressing. The server was sweet and attentive, but I would never return. $60 wasted
