We’ve eaten sushi everywhere from Tokyo to San Francisco, LA to New York. Sushi Seki is in my top 2 favorites!! Best in NYC. Great quality fish, delicate preparation, the Itame takes his craft very seriously and the waitstaff are all knowledgeable and professional. We come here every time we are in New York! ♥️

BEST SUSHI IN NYC!! This is my all time favorite sushi restaurant and let’s face it, it is not cheap but it is so worth the money. From the ambiance to the service everything around the food is amazing. And let’s talk about the sushi, we always get the chefs menu, it is expensive but it is the best sushi I’ve ever try, it is imposible to even choose a favorite piece. The fish is absolutely gorgeous, the rice is just how sushi rice needs.

Amazing sushi, really superb quality. All the items we had was amazing, and the ambience of the location is really great. It’s worth every penny spend. The waiter had really great suggestions, and the service was good, the pace that the food came to the table is perfect.

I went here my birthday dinner with my boyfriend on 12/23. We split the gyoza, I got the sashimi dinner, and then we split some mochi for dessert. Everything was delicious. The gyoza was clearly fresh, with the dumpling part being light and nicely fried (not too doughy like a lot of gyoza). The sashimi dinner was amazing. Everything was beautifully fresh.

Smallest pieces of fish on sushi I’ve ever experienced. Prices are outrageous. No ambiance what so ever. The lowest possible value for money. There are so many nice places in NYC, spend your money somewhere else.

Not bad at all. Their toro and uni were great but I was not a fan of their original sushi which was too creative and Americanized. Other than that the service was awesome and pretty reasonable price for a sushi restaurant. Great location as well.

I’m not sure how they did it. I wasn’t drunk or high and yet the sushi, as plain jane as it was, tasted like I was inebriated and enjoying the freshest and most delicious sushi I’ve ever had!

Absolutely amazing Toro, and king Salmon as part of the first round in the 18-piece omakase. The fatty tuna is literally melting in your mouth. The fish is super fresh and the second round comes one by one as they make it over the counter. The best place to sit is on the bar so that you can enjoy the shefs making your sushi and sashimi. Unfortunately no wifi though. Great selection of exquisite green teas. Another great thing about this place, there is no loud music. Extremely pleasant. All in all – great and authentic experience, and definitely not cheap ($160 per person for the omakase), but it is worth it
