This is an excellent, intimate, sushi restaurant with some limited menu options for those guests who are not inclined to the delicacy. I like sushi, but I’m not given to Uni, so I ordered the sushi platter with a spicy scallop side. Excellent.

The restaurant is very elegant and clean. The cut rolls were very delicious. I had the shrimp tempura, California roll, and avocado and eel roll with an iced green tea. I didn’t get to try the sashimi but I bet it was good too!

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Melted in my mouth. Very attentive service. This is a perfect spot for a date night. Highly recommended.

this place is trash; we got sat outside in a new dining shed that they put in the middle of a bike lane.

It was an incredible experience. The chef was very attentive and so was his supportive staff. The quality was amazing. Cannot recommend more. I did the Highest option of Omakase and it was reasonable, and to be honest the best sushi I have ever had. Albeit I’m new to Omakase however I’ll never forget my first time…

the spicy scallop roll is a MUST get! plus some of the best mochi ice cream i’ve ever had. the miso soup and spicy shrimp tempura were solid, and eel-avocado and california rolls are just standard, but an all-around great takeout experience. i will be back!

We had a friend in town and wanted to get omakase in the city. With our 5 year old, we usually are not allowed to sit at the bar but Sushi Ryusei made an exception. We sat at the corner of the sushi bar and were able to see everything which was great.

Love the service here. Oysters are very flavorful and the chief sashimis the oyster meat to small pieces. Chutoro has a bit chewy tender which would be great if it can be removed. BTW, love the clean restroom a lot!
