Nom, nom, nom! Wonderful evening at the Sushi Ring! My friend suggested this place as she really wanted to try their all-you-can-eat option. Reading the Yelp reviews, I wasn’t entirely sure. Didn’t sound like the best place to eat and the food was always just average according to all reviews. But when in Rome. So anyway we drove up to Everett to try it out. Before I talk about anything else, I have to say that the selection was excellent! We had so much to choose from and we enjoyed every single bite of it! Especially, and my friend really wanted me to add this, especially the upside down shrimp. She asked them for 3 plates of that stuff and I would say it was pretty good! We enjoyed all sorts of things from deep fried rolls to standard caterpillar and dragon rolls. Everything tasted fresh and we were able to get it right away as it was about 8 at night and there was only a few other people there. We sat at the bar and the sushi maker was extremely friendly every time she took our order. Really fun to watch them make it! Their decor is nothing to write home about, however the overall friendliness made up for it. The sushi makers are very nice and the owners who were buzzing around doing other tasks were also very friendly. You could tell it was like a family place where everyone was welcome. I would definitely go back and the $28 for all you can eat was excellent! Totally worth it!

Took my daughter out for her birthday party. 10 people at 40 dollars a plate. The hostess was very rude right off the bat, she was wanting everyone to pay for an all you can eat, but a few have never had sushi before and wanted just one item. She the hostess said there are rules and we have been here for 20 years and these are the rules. My wife told her just give us the check for drinks and left the place. I want to personally let everyone know NOT to plan any parties at this low life restaurant.

Delicious food, but the lady with the red jacket occasionally stood on the side waiting for things to do (it wasn’t busy), but when she stared off into space she frequently made me feel like I was being watched and I never want to be here again. She even moved my menu out from under my food after I put the food down. Doesn’t help that my boyfriend was brought the wrong dishes multiple times after waiting for a long time, despite me getting my food right away. They can’t even spell “Gyoza” right on the menu. Not kidding, I almost cried. This is the kind of place that makes me want to go and mark all of the one star reviews as helpful so that one one has to pay $87 to have an absolutely miserable meal with their loved one.

Good food, beer and great service. Definitely can slow down when it gets busy, just because they need more staff. Be patient during those times.

Sushi is expensive so I went for the ‘all you can eat’ meal and I WAS NOT disappointed. I love sitting at the bar and watching the chef work. Sushi is beautiful. It’s art. The restaurant wasn’t too busy and the chef kept up well with those of us in the restaurant and several take out orders that came in.

I ordered the cucumber shrimp sumonono salad for $8.00 plus. Ive never been more disappointed and the fact that I could have just sliced some cucumber on my own would have actually been better

Despite the quality of food being excellent, the service was abyssmal. Despite trying to order around their menu with a gluten allergy, their menu is misleading, and I was given the wrong roll. They obviously focus on rolls that are to go or for tables, not those at the sushi bar. The woman in the red jacket bothered my partner multiple times. If you don’t have allergens and are willing to wait long periods between rolls (I waited 10 minutes for my roll, only to be informed it would be 5 more minutes) then this place is fine. If you want AYCE sushi go elsewhere.

We went to Sushi Ring for a casual birthday dinner, and our experience here was not great. The rolls we ordered were ok. Tasty, but nothing special. The miso soup was bland and blase as well. No green onions in it, which is generally my favorite part of miso. We enjoyed the plum wine and very hot green tea a lot.

Lady, there is rude. My friend ordered like 30 mussels and she said they’re out of them when we want more. Came back to get my dropped card and saw someone has mussels. Like what the heck? Why serve all you can eat when lied you are out of something? Smh
