My go-to for sushi in Greensboro! They have countless amazing rolls as well great options for those who aren’t into sushi! When it’s warm out, or even when it’s not and they have the heaters on the patio is my favorite place to sit! I’d say it’s pretty reasonably priced for the type of food!

Sushi was decent but a little on the pricey end. Very welcoming atmosphere, and David, our server was great. The decor was fun, and they are expanding their outside dining area. Several options. The seaweed salad was mild and tasty. The Unagi, my personal favorite, was warm and melted on my tongue. Some of the special rolls had a bit more sauce than expected, but tasty nonetheless. The fried ice cream was more of an Italian ice rather than ice cream, but I’m not a big desert guy.

This place is the best sushi I honestly have ever had. I never leave reviews but as you can see from the photos I literally come here every week. Their sashimi is like butter, rolls are unique and never miss. The service here is also amazing – short waits, friendly staff and overall amazingly run restaurant. cocktails here are also delicious!

This was my first time dining in at this place but I’m familiar with the take out. Food is excellent, tasted fresh and delicious , loved the hot tea and the white peach sake, plus the menu is well put together for a variety of items to choose from without complications. My server was really nice and knowledgeable….I went around 9 pm and they close at 10…sooo , we felt a bit rushed throughout our delicious meal… we couldn’t enjoy it as planned because of the rushed atmosphere at that particular time , we were a group of 4 people dining and going from appetizers, drinks and entrees in 45 minutes…couldn’t ask for dessert because there was no time for that and I do honestly understand ( Ive worked in the food industry before)so next time I’ll take in consideration to visit the restaurant earlier so we can fully enjoy the whole experience in a more relaxed way.

Just okay. We got 3 different rolls, I thought that they were a bit small. Everything was lacking flavor and spices, but all the ingredients seemed to be very fresh. I would have shared it with the staff if anyone bothered to ask. On Tuesday night the waitresses were way too busy. People on the patio were getting their own water refills. It took a while to get food, I wish in such cases they offered some cheap free snacks.

Staff: Really nice. Our server was attentive and we really didn’t have to wait very long at all.

Amazing sushi restaurant. Some very unique roll ingredient combinations from this establishment, but I ended up loving them all. They had pernicious ipa on tap too, which I loved to pair with all of the spicy rolls.

There is nothing better than good food and company. Greensboro has great restaurants to offer. Among them, Sushi Republic is a top tier choice. We had delicious and fresh fish from the Chef’s platter. Additionally, the restaurant is allergy conscious- promptly notifying the chef about a party’s food allergies. With drinks, tonight we had green tea and hot flavored sake. I had Lychee flavored sake while my sister had the White Peach. Both flavors were very sweet. Upon the suggestion of our friend, we mixed the sake with green tea- creating a more mild flavor palette. If you enjoy sweet wine, then the flavored sake shouldn’t be a problem on your taste buds. Otherwise, finding the right blend between green tea and sake would be a great solution. Overall, the experience was pleasant- from food to service. A highly recommended location.

Sushi republic is one of my favorite, if not favorite places to eat in Greensboro. The atmosphere is good for date nights but also casual enough to go out with friends. I love the red snapper tacos and I always got them with a side of rice and a chefs special roll. One of my favorite meals ever!
