Very pleased with the experience we got there! Great sushi – the rice was well done – the products were fresh staff very welcoming and the sushi chef was awesome too. Everything clean overall a very pleasant experience! Definitely recommend it and coming back.

While the service was superb and this can somewhat satisfy a sushi craving, the cuts of fish weren’t great. For example the salmon belly was not silky and did not melt in my mouth as it should. Also I found the tartare lacking in flavours and a little too heavy on the soy sauce.

I think they have recently renovated the restaurant, we can smell very strong wood taint smell throughout the whole meal. Sushi were mediocre, but the yakisoba was very flavorful, I would recommend that over sushi.

Most varied Sushi menu I have ever seen. So many choices. Also carry noodle dishes and some grilled food. Service was friendly and efficient. We had the fried Calamari to start and it was very good. For dessert we had fried cheesecake…so delicious.

We’ve tried most of the sushi places in the Bethesda and Rockville area. There are a lot of very good ones, but we’ve concluded that Sushi Oishii is the best among them. They have a great selection of unique rolls, and every one we’ve tried has been delicious. Each has little details that make it memorable, and the presentation of the rolls is beautiful (even on a random Friday at lunchtime) which adds to the overall experience.

Sushi was delicious! Colleagues and I each ordered different rolls, all of which were made with a lot of attention toe detail. Service was friendly and fast. I had the lotus roll—it was well above average.

The 12 piece omakase was delicious. We ate all of the top shelf sashimi dishes in just 12 bite sized morsels. Most of the chef prepared pieces didn’t need soy sauce because of the added flavors like uni, yuzu, wasabi, and roe. A must try for any sushi enthusiast!
