Got takeout since it’s right next door to where I’m living. It was okay, not bad, not amazing, but overall good-ish(?) to start: the rolls were ok- I found that they were to filled with rice (especially the cucumber rolls, there was too little cucumber and too much rice) and flavour was decent. I liked the tuna avocado roll the most out of all the rolls. The salmon / tuna sushi was okay as well, pretty good and I enjoyed it (nothing super special, just plain and straight up salmon and tuna and rice lol). We got some crispy rice sushi as well since it seemed like the specialty- the crispy rice was pretty mediocre to be honest. It was just a thin slab of rice that they fried and put a thin slice of fish & other toppings on. Honestly, thought that it was pretty mediocre and the rice wasn’t that crispy, texture just felt stale. I don’t think I’d ever order takeout again- it was very mediocre. I heard good things about the dine-in experience though so I’d be open to that!

This place was not bad. It was okay. The shiitake mushroom sushi was very good though. Salmon looks fresh, and the eel was pretty good. The presentation is also cute but I’ve had better sushi. Give it a try, but I personally wouldn’t go back. The staff is nice though! Also order ahead online. The QR code does not work for in store and they do not take in store orders which I found very inconvenient. Overall it’s a 7 / 10 at best.

Worst sushi rolls that I ever had. Not recommend this place. The fish portion on crispy tuna and yellow tail were so small and crispy rice was not crispy at all and could not taste it. Other rolls also taste not good. No value for food that we had. Do not trust food pictures that shown to us.

Sushi Nikko is an omakase restaurant (12 courses for $68 pp) on the 2nd floor of the JACX&CO LIC eatery. During my visit, I was interested in the combo sushi set orders to take to Gantry Plaza for a bridesmaid proposal picnic! I ordered 5 combo sushi sets – each set comes with 4 maki rolls x 4 pieces each = 16 pieces total (about $20 per box if you choose your own rolls). We ordered a combination of truffle avocado, spicy blue crab, spicy salmon, yellowtail jalapeño, eel avocado, salmon avocado, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, and shiitake mushroom. My favorites were the eel avocado and salmon avocado!

Had a very nice dining experience in this place. The food was decent and service was really nice. The dining environment is nice and relax. Price is also very friendly considering the quality of food that i had. Definitely a regular go to place if I lived nearby.

Great 10 course $65 sushi omakase in the heart of LIC! The chefs are very friendly and the ambience is pretty neat being on the second floor of a open-air food court. They had some unique cuts of fish such as grunt and mackerel which I haven’t seen at other shops

Not a Japanese sushi but Chinese. No wonder Miso soup was not included in omakase. We had to take this place as a joke. Small portion that I had to have another diner at home. Pretty boring atmosphere and some weird fusion stuff such as a white fish with green apple and radish one of the worst combinations you can taste and none of Japanese restaurants serve that.
