okay, this is by and far the BEST restaurant I have ever been to. I was struggling with my asthma and once explained to my waiter they suggested the best tea for my throat and in the time it took to take my inhaler they had a double strength brew ready at the table for me.

My husband and I sat at the sushi counter. We enjoyed the delicious Omakase Sushi course, but the chef was taking care of orders from the tables as well. Since he was busy busy, I felt so rushed to eat.

DC, this is your Michelin rated sushi restaurant. It’s definitely tasty! And worth a visit. They have a wonderful sake menu as well. It’s all omakase – so no decisions required. I’m rather sure everything we had, that could be, was auction-grade – to include the strawberry on top of the dessert. The staff was super great and knowledgeable. It was a memorable experience.

My sister and had been talking about experiencing the omakase menu here for some time and finally went. We did the classic 20-course menu and it did not disappoint. We wanted to feel that we got our money’s worth, especially with the premium of sitting at the counter and we honestly felt that we did.

Omakase set experience was diverse, colorful, and exquisite. Excellent pairing recommendations. Top notch attention to detail from the chef, to the support staff and leads. Recommend shelling out the extra cash to dine st the sushi bar, where the sushi chef provides an individualized experience. Would recommend for once every in a while for people looking to gain or maintain an appreciation of sushi.

ALWAYS SIT AT THE BAR! Never sit in the dining room, that is just not the proper way to experience an omakase.

Was it a bit pricey? Yes. Was it also several of the best bites of food I have ever had? Also yes! The squid might have been my favorite bite of all time. Every piece was hand crafted meticulously and perfectly. Over all, it was a terrific experience. We will for sure be back.

Lovely Omakase experience. Made reservations online 2 weeks prior when reservation window opened, as this is a small restaurant and Omakase takes 1.5-2hrs. We had 20 pieces of chef’s choice seafood items. Our highlight was the first set of 3 salmon pieces. Pictured is 4 pieces of tuna prepared from the same fish. All fish was plated beautifully and some with unique flavors (cherry blossom salt, yuzu, mint leaf). In addition to fish there was uni, eel, cavier, and squid. The sushi is eaten picked up with your fingers and eaten right to left. They briefly explain each item to you, and you have a little towel to clean your fingertips and a bowl of ginger to have between bites. I highly recommend ordering the decaffeinated Soba Cha buckwheat tea. They have multiple add-ons to the Omakase menu, and you will have the opportunity to order additional of anything you liked from your Omakase menu- the salmon we liked best was $8 for an additional piece. After the 20 Omakase seafood menu items they provided tea and a small dessert.
