Definitely one of my top 5 Japanese restaurants in San Jose! After being stationed in Japan for two years I miss and crave the authenticity of Japanese culture & Sushi Masa definitely delivers. The food is delicious, a great sake variety, the staff is all very kind and warm and friendly! You get greeted as soon as you walk in by all the staff and thanked the same way before leaving which is something else I miss from the country. The decor makes me feel like I’m back at my local restaurant in town in Okinawa. Faith was an excellent server! We will be back soon!

I recently visited a sushi restaurant that blew me away with their delicious sushi and sashimi offerings. What stood out to me the most was the quality of the ingredients – you could tell that they were using only the freshest fish and other toppings. The sushi itself was beautifully presented, with big chunks of fish on top that made every bite feel like a real treat. If you’re a sushi lover like me, I definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try – you won’t be disappointed!

BEST SASHIMI I EVER HAD IN CALIFORNIA- no kidding!! The fish was so fresh and thick, you could tell the different type of fish from their texture and flavor. The vibe was also good- made me think of small restaurants in Japan. Spent $40+ per person but that was okay for me (never eat low-price sashimi because those could be very unclean and cause trouble). Will definitely revisit!
