This location has been operating as a Japanese restaurant for a while, but the owners have changed multiple times. Currently, Sushi Land is Japanese-owned since October of 2012. The fresh fish is supplied by the owner’s husband who owns a wholesale company in Los Angeles. We serve sushi (omakase, nigiri and rolls) and Japanese dishes (udon noodles, tempura, chicken teriyaki in bento boxes, and more!).
Based on 123 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.5 stars. Price $$

Sushiland was an unexpected surprise. It is truly a hidden gem. A Latino sushi chef and woman sushi chef (sorry didn’t get their names) working it making delicious sushi and sashimi. The prices are very reasonable. They should be charging more for the quality of product they are using. The sashimi so fresh… I know it’s summer time but I got the yosenabe udon seafood soup. It’s was very delicious I tasted a hint of yuzu..it was super hot (temperature ) and I couldn’t finish all. The biggest deals are their happy hour menu $5 mixed tempura (shrimp and vegetables) so good and spicy tuna roll. Not your typical Sriracha mayo mix…there was a different type of spicy. So good and I think that was $5 too.Try to make it out to this amazing hole in the wall. It will be worth the trip

Would not recommend to any friends or family! I normally don’t leave bad reviews but I was pretty disappointed in this sushi place. We all ordered waters and the smell from the cups was so terrible, it smelled like the glasses had never been cleaned. I also ordered a miso soup which tasted a little off but the seaweed was so ridiculously chewy that I couldn’t break it apart and swallow. Lastly, I ordered a crunchy roll and my roll had so many pieces of hard, uncooked rice, I was scared I was going to chip a tooth! I really couldn’t believe how many pieces of uncooked rice were in my roll and I have never seen that in my several years of eating sushi. I’ve gotten way better sushi from somehow cheaper places than Sushi land, so I would definitely recommend skipping this place and going somewhere with better sushi!

They have good sushi and rolls. I love their udon taste close to Japanese authentic style. Just see the quality of toro.

Happy hour price for beer is great. The server is a really cute young lady. Food needs serious improvement. They use plain white rice instead of a sushi rice. The texture of the meats are tough and dry. The rolls fall apart easily. They have a blue crab roll but I’m pretty sure it’s tuna or way past it’s fresh date.

Wonderful neighborhood spot with a healthy selection of fresh sashimi at inexpensive prices. I’ve had their chirashi bowl, nabeyaki udon, and different sashimi… all delicious. They do ask for proof of vaccination and that you be masked upon arrival. I hope noone gives them any grief for it … it’s such a treat!

This is very good sushi place to come and eat. Some of the fishes are coming from Japan. We love eating the fatty tuna toro from here. The prices are reasonable. The services are very good. It’s a small little place but has a good vibe.

This place just reopened and I couldn’t wait to try it out. I ordered the Udon & Sushi Set; it was delicious! The place is squeaky clean and has a classy cafe style combined with Japanese aesthetics. The workers and chefs are nice and customer service is excellent.

The owners have a background in sushi fish importing and distribution, so you are getting super high quality here.

This is AUTHENTIC Japanese restaurant. My parents are very picky with their Japanese food since they visited Japan many times. I don’t even dare to take them to fushion Japanese restaurants because they will complain of taste and quality. However, they never complain of Sushi Land. It’s their favorite place. So, if you are looking for authentic Japanese dishes and quality, this is the place to go. The owners are super nice and always happy to support small family business.

I’m not one to complain, and frankly I was shocked at how poorly this meal turned out. It was takeout–eo perhaps that played a role, but wow! After all the positive reviews I read here, I’m hoping this was just an aberration because the quality was terrible. The Hamachi sashimi appetizer still had traces of skin on it, and it appeared as though it was cut by someone with no experience preparing food, let alone sushi. It tasted fishy (I’m thinking because of all the skin left on it). The salmon sushi was good. The albacore was unremarkable and slightly off tasting.
