This is my new fave sushi place in the area! The sushi is so fresh. I ordered take out and waited inside. All items are made by order which is why it takes slightly longer. They have 1 sushi chef who does it all. If you sit at the bar counter, you can watch him make the sushi in action. It only took 30 mins for my takeout order (&I ordered as a walk in) but he was also finishing 4-5 other tickets.

THE BEST sushi place out of all I have been to — true authentic gem, “hidden” in the heart of Merriman Valley. This place is small, yet very cozy — but what amazed me is the quality and taste of food. Sushi and salads are beyond amazing, I am out of words to describe to be honest…

The sushi was good but took over an hour for our order to arrive at our table. As a vegan I got the vegetable roll and it was very large and not very tasty. Everyone else enjoyed their sushi, and mentioned how good the salmon nigiri was in particular. It was fun to order sushi and play games at Quater Up.

Hands down the best sushi around! It’s a small hidden gem! They always have the same staff so you know you’re consistently going to get great food! The sushi is fresh and I’ve never tried a roll I didn’t like. The star roll is my favorite. The crab bake is delicious, too! It’s also kid friendly- they have a restaurant next door you can order from that serves kid friendly food (pizza, coney dogs, etc). Can’t give it enough stars!

While I thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambiance, I must express my disappointment regarding the additional charge for credit card payments. Penalizing customers for using a widely accepted form of payment is disheartening and detracts from an otherwise pleasant experience. I believe eliminating this unnecessary fee would greatly benefit both the restaurant and its customers.

I enjoyed this restaurant. I think it is worth a try to anyone who likes asian cuisine & sushi. The gyoza was my favorite part! The baked crab was also very good. The reason for the 3 stars was due to the sushi quality. The salmon, octopus, and tobiko were delicious and fresh! The tuna, eel, and yellowtail were not the best. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to see if you would have better luck than us.

The food is always really good. The staff are very knowledgeable of the menu. The seating area fits a lot of people in the space. Depending on how many servers they have at the time it may take them a bit longer to come check up on your table. Its worth a visit if your in the area.

10 minutes before server acknowledged us and it took even longer for a glass of water. 90 minutes before the sushi landed on our table. Bathroom was dirty. Sushi was not even average.
