I placed an order for a volcano roll and it was poorly served. It tasted horrible. The crab meat on top, and the sriracha sauce were very bulky and chunky. It completely grossed me out. Very disappointing. I also ordered extra sauce with my order which clearly stated on my receipt and then I was told it wasn’t on the receipt.

Sushi Guy was an unexpected treat to find in Mt. Pleasant, TX. From the outside, it seems like little more than a hole in the wall. We were surprised to see that the menu was smaller than most of the sushi places we have been, but when we ordered we saw why. Every single roll we got was absolutely delicious. The fish tasted fresh and clean and they had signature rolls that we had not encountered at other places. The lady who took our order was so sweet and answered all of our questions about the menu. We ended up ordering dumplings and wontons for appetizers, these were hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. We also ordered two of their combo boxes, a temptation roll, and a round eye roll (our favorite of them all) which were all full of natural flavors and were very filling. We very much enjoyed our experience at Sushi Guy.

Hidden gem of Mount Pleasant and the best sushi outside of Plano/Frisco that I have tasted. Ordered 10 pieces of tuna sashimi. Sashimi is fresh and delivered daily from Dallas. The rolls are good even if ingredient list might be more limited than the big cities. Food was fresh, place is very clean and staff were very patient and helpful. I’d give it six stars if I could.

Staff is super friendly here! I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area and want sushi. You can customize almost anything you want here! I live out of town and I would definitely be back when I come back. They also serve red, white, and sake here.

This place has some fabulous flavors in their sushi! It’s kept a little cool inside, but the front outdoor seating is great. I have to say that I also appreciate their branding too! Customer service is friendly and you don’t have to wait long for your food. Small space, so don’t think its a good spot for big groups; maybe they can expand sometime soon!

Let’s start this off by saying the customer service was not the problem here… we ordered a few items and the sushi was the worst. They tried their best but it was overcooked… flavorless and revolting. Forced myself to eat what I could. Kids liked it though lol also prices have jumped $1 on everything verses what I found on google prior to my visit. No biggie but someone should update lol

Fast and friendly service. The sushi is really good but the rolls are cut into eight huge pieces. Your utensil choices are a plastic fork or chopsticks–neither of which will yield smaller pieces you can actually fit in your mouth. Next time I’m bringing my own plastic knife
