We had a phone ☎️ order. The sushi was on point. It took the same time they promised. Their Vegetarian options were also fresh and healthier.

Every time I go here, it’s excellent. My absolute favorite is the Caterpillar. Their eel is phenomenal! And the servers are always awesome as well. Can’t remember all their names but this last time was Jonah I think and he was great! 🙂

Small, quaint establishment. The sushi was awesome! Great service and incredible staff. We had the Firecracker; Coco Loco; Spider; Groove Roll; and the Cookie Challenge…YUM! don’t let the exterior of this establishment fool you; stop by and give them a try!

It’s a great spot for excellent sushi without the frills of other downtown locations. A bit loud inside because it’s so small. The teriyaki bowl was so so. But Again – excellent sushi at a fair price with low stress atmosphere. Love it.

Really good sushi, with a fun interior. Would recommend the sushi combo for a good sampling, and a specialty roll to try something more unique!

They do sushi, right? Also, have other options if you’re with someone who doesn’t eat sushi. Jersey roll is my favorite, but you have to love some heat if you want to try it!

Fun place. There’s a reason they’ve been around as long as they have and it has nothing to do with their sign because it’s hard to see, even when looking right at it. Music was loud but I’m a boomer. Had a chicken stir fry thing, way too much sauce. Super friendly. I’d be a regular if I were a denizen. Grew up around the corner, area has changed. Hardly recognizable. I sincerely wish them another 10 years.

Food was good and service was excellent for a small restaurant. Had two issues of which the first was the dj music which is too loud for such a small space. To have a conversation you need to almost shout. The second was with my sushi roll fell apart every time I picked up a piece to eat. I brought that up with the waiter to let them know. Will go back for the sushi but will take some ear plugs.

My husband and I went here for a late lunch yesterday and were very impressed. Such a cool and relaxed vibe! I loved that they were playing Mexican music at a Japanese restaurant. I commented on it and was told they play it for the chef who is from Oaxaca. I got the salmon teriyaki combination meal. I didn’t love the inaki sweetness sushi that came with it, but the salmon and veggies were out-of-this-world delicious!!!! I’m not sure how he did it, but the salmon was small pieces that were a bit crispy. Oh SO yummy! And the teriyaki sauce was perfect, not too sweet and not too salty. The owner and the server were super friendly and helpful too. Overall a wonderful experience!
