My new favorite sushi spot in the Playa Del Rey area. Have tried several of the menu items and haven’t had a bad experience yet. The truffle hand rolls are so good!! Service is great and gave some great recommendations. Will be coming back, highly recommend 10/10. The service can’t be beat too, reason why I’m writing this and making the effort!

This little sushi place never disappoints! The quality is over the top, and the presentation is always stunning! It is a bit on the pricey side but the food absolutely justifies it. I will continue to return to this little gem ✨️

This a great hole in the wall sushi spot in playa del Rey! The restaurant itself is pretty small and cozy, but they also offer outdoor dining which is great during the summertime (they also have heaters). The fish quality is top notch and their prices are very reasonable compared to other sushi spots in LA. I’m so happy we discovered this place. We ordered the yellowtail jalapeño, spicy tuna crispy rice, garlic edamame (spicy), and a sushi boat for 4 people. We devoured everything, it was all delicious! The sushi boat called out certain fish, but I’m pretty sure they swapped out things for what they had fresh which we didn’t mind at all. The staff is very friendly and authentic. Definitely feels like a neighborhood joint!

One of the most authentic sushi places we’ve been to in a while. This place is like a speakeasy/hidden treasure. Highly recommend the aburi nigiri (salmon & torro).

The sushi and rolls at Sushi Beluga are of very good quality, especially considering the balance between quality and price. As a big sushi lover, I have been to many sushi restaurants in Los Angeles, and I can confidently say that the fish quality at Sushi Beluga is on par, if not better, than other places, and the prices are noticeably lower. The service is good.

This is my “go to” for sushi. I hesitate to write a review because I’d prefer to keep this place under the radar, but that wouldn’t be fair to the owners! The freshest fish around at a price that won’t break the bank. I can’t recommend it enough. I like a value and the sushi combos are a great value. Tons of delicious fresh fish!
