We enjoyed this sushi restaurant. The sushi was fresh and the rolls were a good size for the price. Definitely more on the Americanized sushi, lots of California roll variations and not too much raw fish that isn’t fried. Definitely a crowd pleaser.

Sushi bay is fantastic! We came here for date night and were blown away! The service was friendly and speedy, and our food came out so fast! The sushi was fresh and amazing! We will definitely be back for karaoke!

Decent sushi for the price you’re paying. Hamachi kama was also pretty good. Overall somewhat mediocre quality fish for the price you’re paying in Denver.

Googled “best sushi Denver” on a Sunday afternoon and landed here. The jalapeño appetizer and hangover roll are creative and great! Relatively quiet (it is 17th), cool, shaded front patio. Nice staff. Perfect for a solo Summer afternoon with a Sapporo and a book.

Came here yesterday for dinner and unfortunately my partner and I got sick halfway through our meals. We have both been up all night and morning with food poisoning.

Do you like being forgotten about completely? Come here. You’ll have food dropped off and then when you come in and ask to pay they think you’re placing a to go order because they forgot what you looked like and that they have tables outside. Go to Izu Sushi up the street. Vegan rolls were food but not worth the service. Will get it to go next time.

I thought their service was fantastic! They were super flexible about our requests and super nice! I really appreciated that the chef made us omakase which is not on the menu and their tamago was fantastic!! Actually better than sushi den!! Now the jalapeño appetizer was fantastic but the sushi was just ok. We got a lot of sashimi and I felt the pieces were cut too thick and the shrimp and mackerel were just not good. I also asked for fresh wasabi but it wasn’t the real thing – I think the waiter didn’t know but still appreciate the effort! Overall great spot to hang out with friends – great prices and great service! Just wish the fish was of higher caliber.

I stumbled across this place on my first night in Denver. I ordered some gyozas, a tuna roll and chicken teriyaki. The gyozas were decent. The sushi was good. However, the chicken teriyaki was on par with the food you get on airplanes. That said, I do think that this place is more sushi-oriented so my experience might be skewed.

Been coming here for several years now. Good sushi option without the crazy prices. There are definitely better sushi options in town, but when we’re craving sushi and don’t want all the fuss this is our go to place.
