Excellent atmosphere, food is good and service is fast. Pricing is ok. The menu selection is large, but they also have other meals like hamburgers and steaks for the ones that don’t like seafood. Tables cleans and nice view to the ocean.

Fish place with fresh fish (you need to ask halibut is usually local) on the beach, food tastes good and is creative, portions are big for taco, it used to be cheaper now comparable pricing to other places, they have live music sometimes which is nice.

the place was clean, service was good, the oyster was fresh but the ceviche tostada was not fresh and no flavor. Can’t tell what kind of fish or seafood it was. the seared ahi tuna was alright. it was just quickly seared with a dash of sesame oil and some seeds on top. We had some other small dishes but nothing stood out except the beach and the pier.

My husband and I really enjoyed it. It’s a classic ocean side restaurant. The food was impressively fresh and hot. Everything was crispy and had really good light flavor. You can tell it was sitting around for days and was prepared properly. We got the clam strip meal and the 2×4 meal. Food was served quickly, and I like the fact that it’s pretty much self-service in terms of utensils and sauces, so you don’t have to worry about people coming to your table constantly or tip pressure. They keep it very clean, considering that it’s a mostly outdoor environment, and we had no issues with birds.

So far my experience is pretty tame, No military discount here though or at least the guy said not at this time, so they probably do special occasions. So CONs: 1 crab cake cost 10.95 with fries it’s 2 dollars more, the taste is ok, but not worth the price. Also cheese fries can only be ordered alone they won’t add it to fries you get with your food so even if fries are 2 dollars more cheese fries are like 8 bucks plus and there is no way eased droped the apparently regular melted cheese worth 6 and some change. PRO: Fresh oysters were surprisingly good worth the price ponzu sauce carried though. Neutral Ground: the 4pc fish was painfully bland on its own, but if you like sauces then you would like them, and the pieces were huge I would stick to the 2pc if you have a small stomach. It’s good for an experience but maybe not a constant date out choice and this review was made while I was craving fried fish sooo…. you have been warned ok byeeee.

I am totally disappointed with this place. My family would go often to Andy’s which was the previous name. Tonight we drove down here to have a bomb seafood dinner. Ordered halibut fish and chips, clam chowder, cheeseburger, and clam strips. $83 total! Every single thing was so very bland. Had zero taste. The fish was very crispy but had no flavor. Same as the $16 cheeseburger and fries. No flavor. Clam chowder tasted canned and also had no seasoning. There’s one shared salt and pepper at the place to order. They don’t have a kids menu so the prices keep stacking up. I will not be returning to eat here. Way too over priced for the location and for the non seasoned food you get.

I drove up to Port Hueneme to check out the fishing pier just for fun and I noticed a little seafood restaurant that reminded me of Captain Kidd’s Fish Market & Restaurant in Redondo Beach, so I got in line. After a reasonable wait, I ordered a Surfside Special 2x2x2 – 2pc fish and chips and coleslaw plus 2 breaded jumbo shrimp and 2 breaded scallops. I am not exaggerating when I say this was some of the best fried seafood I’ve ever had. Fresh, light, perfectly cooked; a real pleasure to eat. I’m not much of a “chips” guy but these are some good fries, too. And the coleslaw was just the way I like it – perfect balance of sweet and sour and crunch and creaminess. I can’t wait to go back.

The best fish and chips ,I have ever had. Absolutely loved every bite of it. I went to beach and ended up here without any idea about the place . A variety of seafood is offered in the menu like shrimp, crab, lobster, scallops, calamari, clams, oysters and of course the fish. It’s a fun place to hang out in the outdoor seating with ocean view and live music. Dole Pineapple Whip is available here, I have stood in queue like an hour in Disney to buy this. I love everything about this place, definitely will visit again. My only concern was that its a bit pricey place.
