Food 5 stars, but service is always too long, I chose not to go there to not waste half of my day even though I really want to, because, again, the food is one of the best in Ocean City! The Nashville chicken is so good!

Ok, here we go…disappointed….not enough…everything was AS BAD AS IT COULD BE!!!! First, the Bartender (it appeared) started an hour ago b/c he had no supplies, no alcohol nor any ingredients for different drinks. I asked for literally over four different drinks with very simple ingredients (ones that I have at home) Hello earth to the Bartender in charge??? When I settled on a coffee with Baileys, they have no alcohol that is customarily used in coffee except some old bottle of..???? The glasses at the bar were gross.

Delicious food! Service was slow due to being understaffed but definitely worth the wait for how delicious it was. Waitress was extremely friendly when she had a chance to serve us.

I feel a sense of loss. This because we’ve been coming to OCMD for over a decade and this is the first time we’ve eaten at the rooster. Needless to say, WE HAVE A NEW FAVORITE RESTAURANT! I ate the shrimp and grits, my wife had creamed beef on biscuits, my boys had shrimp tacos and Pancakes. Everyone LOVED IT! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is one of my favorite places for breakfast when I’m in town. I love that you can get dishes here that are beyond your basic eggs and pancakes. I’ve spent between $15-20 for one breakfast meal before tip, which is fairly across the board at this point. We have tried quite a few things on their menu, and have never had anything that was less than delicious. My favorite meal so far was huevos rancheros, which unfortunately was just a special the days that I got it, and I keep my fingers crossed they have it every time I go. It comes in a small cast iron skillet, which I am partial to, but the meal really is amazing too! If I was rating based on food alone, this restaurant would be 5 stars. Unfortunately the room leaves little to be desired for me because of how loud it can get. The space is aesthetically pleasing, but the dining area is small and echoes every loud voice in the room. Also since I’ve been there many times, I can say that my drink has gone empty for long periods of time when the server was not busy with other guests. Drink refills seem to be an issue at most restaurants these days though, so I would say my biggest gripe is the loud space. Overall an excellent breakfast/lunch place; even better if you don’t mind loud voices first thing in the morning.

Food is great! Don’t get me wrong but they need to work on their seating system. I understand it’s a small place but maybe there would be some benefit to three servers. We went there a few weeks ago and it looked busy (they said the wait would be half an hour) but as a two top we were sat within ten minutes. Our drink order was quickly taken and brought in the appropriate amount of time by one server but I guess she wasn’t our server? And said our server would come by shortly. We looked over the menu and sat there for 40 minutes before we left. (My boyfriend was timing it because he was worried it might happen with how busy we were) I was a little disappointed but he was getting frustrated because we saw a party of four and then a much bigger party be sat and addressed before us. Maybe they thought we weren’t rack up a big bill but I work in the restaurant industry I alone usually order two breakfasts, drinks, and tip 30%. I would have rather waited outside and then actually be taken care of when we sat down instead of pacified with a drink and then ignored. I don’t blame the servers really. They seemed overwhelmed and one told the hostess she could keep being sat like this but then they took care of those new larger tables I mentioned before us. I think there needs to be more communication or more staff. We ended up leaving without the bill but left cash for enough to cover our two drinks and 10% tip. I wish the best of luck.

Very happy with this breakfast spot while on vacation! Our server, i think her name was Kerri was awesome! While serving a full restaurant by herself she was still pleasant. The food was quick and sooooo delicious!

Long time favorite, always delicious, always great service. Have gotten busier over the last year and a half – be patient. Not the biggest place but totally worth the trip. Never waited longer than 15 for a table for Sunday brunch. Get the cinnamon roll, you won’t be disappointed

Food was really good. Went for breakfast. It can be pricey but portions are big and hearty. Super cute inside. Our waiter was overwhelmed and the other waitress was super cranky.
