My husband and I stopped on Christmas Day, to pick up a takeout dinner. We ordered Edamame, Salmon “love boat” which is salmon roll & salmon sushi, and filet mignon hibachi. The food was delicious, the steak amazingly tender, and the sushi fresh! I really liked the way they cooked the sushi rice, it was shiny and had just a hint of sesame vinegar, which is perfect for me. They meals included soup and salads as well. The portions were abundant too! I would recommend checking it out if your in the area.

Came here on a rainy day and was the only one in the restaurant. The person working the front seated me quickly and got me started but then a second person took over for him and was on her phone making personal calls by the sound of it a very loud and inattentive – one of the other employees ended up coming to the front to see how everything was going and I had to ask him for sauce because I could not get her attention. The food overall was pretty good.

It’s a small space and efficient, so the have online order, or simple just call them up. They sound like they quit well received when you call. They’re attentive when we linger and dining in as well.

I use to come here regularly (4 times a month) but highly doubt I will be back. I walked in at 9:06 PM. The young man (I always tip 30-50%) asked if I was dining in. When I asked if they were open he said “yes but I just put the chairs up so you need to leave”. I asked if the hours online were correct and he rolled his eyes and walked away. So sad because it seems like his parents work super hard.

I could of cooked better Japanese than this. I should of just went to the other Japanese places on wilmington. Over priced for low quality food. I’ve never ever had watery terriyaki in my life not to mention hard uncooked broccoli. Oh and I’ve never had watery shrimp sauce as well! I will not be wasting money on this place. Try it yourself and see that reviews don’t lie.
