Great place for authentic Mexican fare. I ordered the beef tongue burrito, asked how big it was… was told “not so big” so also ordered a taco – turns out the burrito was fairly large. In the picture I am only showing 1/2 of it. I was still full at dinner time. Both were full of flavor and the condiment bar was well stocked to spice it up any way you want. Will be back! 13/10

I have been coming here for years but today I got one of my regular food items I like which was a huarache and they prepared it as a tostada and it was fried so hard it hurt my teeth. It was greasy and was not good at all. When we spoke to the cooks about it they showed us it was frozen but did admit it was not cooked correctly but the lady cook was very rude. Very disappointed!

Great food, awesome value and very clean. Two large Chili Rellanos, perfect rice and beans, small salad and five corn tortillas for $8. So much food I just had the leftovers for lunch. Rolled Chicken Tacos (largest I’ve ever seen) combo plate for $8. We’re still eating them today. Update: finally got a chance to return a couple days ago and this time we brought our granddaughter. I got the same Chile Rellano combination plate, now $10, and we shared that along with an order of rice and beans. Still couldn’t finish it all. We got there a little early for lunch and had to place to ourselves. When we left the place was packed. Ample parking behind the building or the parking lot right next-door.

Not great experience, asked for grilled chicken they told me they don’t have it / that chicken is only for tacos even though it it’s on the menu , asked for milanesa de pollo, the taste is sour and you can definitely taste the ammonia in it … just hoping I don’t get sick … I didn’t finished the plate, just left.

Great Mexican food and atmosphere. You know it’s legit when you walk in, cafeteria style, condiment bar. I tried a goat burrito (absolutely huge, can feed two people, and super delicious), some tacos (the lengua was a standout), and a quesadilla (good, but not the tex mex style I was expecting). This is an excellent meal option just down the road from the Museum of Life and Science.

It has an extremely limiting menu for vegetarians/vegans! I had to ask for a special request to order something without meat, and it seemed confusing to the staff that I did so. Also, there are literally no prices listed whatsoever! I was very surprised to find that the burritos were $10 each. The salsas and other toppings are available self serve and those were all really good! There was also plenty of free parking.
