So delicious and fresh, really satisfies my craving for Vietnamese/Asian flavors. I always leave here full but not feeling too heavy. The staff are friendly and happy to greet customers. I’ve been here several times since moving to Chattanooga 9 months ago and will continue to.

Come here if you enjoy GOOD PHO AND NOODLES!!! This was a bit of a drive out of DT Chattanooga but absolutely worth the drive for authentic Vietnamese food. The portions were huge which is a description i hope to see in a reviews for a noodles shop. I was stuffed and trust me I can EAT. Filled me up and i was very satisfied for the price. Come here and support these fine folks! Very friendly and welcoming. Support independent businesses! Especially those that have quality services like this one. I really can only speak for the delicious noodles, but please try out the other dishes, I’m sure they are quality:)

I’ve been here 5 times now and have ordered something different every time. I’ve had an excellent experience every time. I do have one critique. The food is often great, it is generally good. Consistency is a struggle and is just part of what good, real food is. One day the broth hadn’t been skimmed of the fat as well as it could have been, another day the egg fried rice was not what it should’ve been. Neither occasion negated the overall experience. I am a big fan of the pho at Chopstix across the street but if I want real, good Vietnamese I go here. Arguably the best Vietnamese in the area and one of the best restaurants around the consumer hell hole of Hamilton Place.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have had Bun Bo Hue here many times but my experience yesterday assured me that I would never come back. It feels like since the restaurant is getting more traffic and customers, they are skimming on the food. The Bun Bo Hue we had yesterday had 2 different types of noodles in it (big and small). The soup tasted bland like it was mixed between different kinds of soup and not like Bun Bo Hue at all. The meat was skimmed so there were more noodles than meat. It’s easy to say our experience yesterday was completely opposite of our other visits. When we mentioned this to the manager/front man, he said it was us that were “off”, and it was our fault the Bun Bo Hue tasted bad. Then the kitchen just brought out a small bowl of soup and left. When asked about it she said she thought we weren’t Vietnamese so she didn’t season it right. No one in this establishment seemed to know customer service, one person tried to blame the customers, the other person blamed not knowing the ethnicity of the customers. A good manager would calm the customers down and investigate the situation. It’s sad that we were treated like this after coming here so often to support them. They will not be missed.
