I raised my hand for 1-2min awaiting a waiter’s attention. The grumpy guy and the waitress just stood back socializing, briefly glanced in my direction, helped other customers, then went back to laughing and having a good time. Even the other customers noticed my predicament, and most of them tried to hide a smile.

Margaritas are wine based, they tend to be out of a lot of things. Expensive for lack of food and wine based drinks. another locations are better. Also no potato tacos like other locations if you are looking for those. Server was not friendly at first but warmed up toward the end. It was not busy.

My family comes here often, The seating is open, the staff are always very friendly and the food is always consistent and delicious! Love their taquitos and enchiladas. The tacos are good too and my son goes crazy for the burritos. The rice is my favorite, i could eat bowl after bowl of it! I often order some extra to go with my leftovers

My youngest daughter’s favorite place, but we all love it. Super fresh, reasonably priced Mexican food, where you can dine in, or get it to go. Of course there are Mexican food restaurants everywhere, but everyone I know who’s been there loves it. Not sure how healthy the food is… it tastes too good to be good for you! We like the Fountain Valley location because it’s close to home & the staff is very friendly & attentive.

Horrible service! Never going back again. Used to be a family favorite place. What happened? What has changed there? Sad. Called in a to go order for crunchy chicken taco and was told it would be ready in 6 minutes. Arrived and there were 2 people in front of me. I saw my order was ready. The cashier would help people then walk away and fill orders even though there were 2 other people there helping her. It took me 20 minutes ro get out of there. My crunchy taco was SOGGY and the food was cold.

Just had some food at this location Saturday July 18th 5:15 pm. Gentleman at the front counter I didn’t catch his name gave me excellent customer service. Above & beyond. Brought out a table for me on the patio so I can eat. This was my first time eating Super Mex. Had the carnitas plate, everything was delicious and fresh. Really loved the rice and beans. Thank you again for the most enjoyable experience for my first time here at Super Mex. Will definitely come again and recommend!
