We got the sashimi bento and the fried pepper appetizer. The bento gave so much for its price and was very filling and very fresh. The peppers were stuffed full of tuna and cream cheese and delicately fried. A hidden gem of a place!

This is a great sushi spot. Very underrated, but a hidden gem inside K Market. I’ve ordered multiple times and recently got take away for a salmon and sushi bento box, an order of temaki hand rolls, and a plain old California roll.

Fantastic food, enthusiastic and kind employees and definitly the best sushi place around. Totally recommend you try this place out. Specifically speaking though, the alligator dish (no alligator, but eel is good to!) And the calamari stuffed crab were probably the highlight food of my week!

Fresh and quality sushi and sashimi at a reasonable price! By far, the best and quality sushi/sashimi place in the NOVA area. Many people don’t know the importance of rice in sushi, how it’s cooked and seasoned. When the rice is on point, it amplifies the freshness of fish and its delicacy. When two are in harmony, you can say “This is a great sushi” and Suny Sushi exceeded my expectation on that. It’s also worth mention that their sashimi was in great portion (thickness and size). Rightly sized and thick to give you the fullness of the taste of fresh seafood.

They’re located in the K-market food court. I tried their sushi because of the high rating on Google. Did not get anything raw, but still had food poisoning the same night and it lasted into the next day. I would not personally go back again because of it.

Mr Sunny is nice, Miss Sunny not so much. She tried to pass off imitation crab as lump crab meat. I told her about it, she brushed me off. Mr Sunny wanted to fix it and I eventually got a $7 replacement, my $14 order. Not sure if I’ll try them again. The food it self was good though!

Super friendly staff and great customer service experience – they misread a detail on my order and after a good laugh about it, the chef fixed it and also sent me home with a free hand roll! The fish was delicious and generously cut; only complaint would be the rice wasn’t the freshest. But I was glad to find this tucked away in that little food court!

Really amazing. It may be some of the best sushi I have had in the area. Did a pickup order and the price was really reasonable and it was a large amount of quality sushi. I got the platter of sashimi and nigiri with 2 rolls. Thanks for the quality and care. For quick grab and non formal sit down sushi this is the place. It is inside the international supermarket. Even if you want to sit down and eat, it won’t be formal, but it is better than most places in Falls Church and Annandale.
