My family went for lunch one day and had awesome service and great food. We had to go back again the next day. They catered to my son’s picky taste without an upcharge and with a smile! The vodka lemonade with strawberry mango puree was delicious! We got a non- alcoholic version for my daughter and she loved it as well. The view is spectacular. We saw a sailboat, planes, small boats, birds and sunshine. Highly recommend!

Our waitress Kat was phenomenal from the first moment she introduced herself! She is so friendly and has such a fantastic personality! She never once rushed us to order and answered any and all questions we had about the menu and offered up her favorites as well! Our server Todd was great! Super attentive, fantastic service. The food was exceptional. Clams could have been a bit cleaner but were still quite tasty. Raw oysters were perfect, and their cocktail sauce was on point! Tuna steak and Sea Bass were yummy! Definitely recommend 100%! The deck has wonderful views with a lovely breeze!

We decided to finally check this place out during our vacation. The food was good, but I was disappointed that they only give one crab claw costing $25. I only say that because a friend went to another local restaurant that same night and got three claws for $40. If you go I recommend sitting outside for the view. That for me was the best part of dinner. Overall great experience, but probably won’t go back again.

Perfect location for sunset and a meal in Duck! We enjoyed our food. The brussel sprouts were like no other and so tasty! We also enjoyed the cheese curds with the dipping sauce. The steamed shrimp were a bit tough but fresh. We were not a fan of the dynamite shrimp, the textures were all off and they had a strange after taste. The fried shrimp were enjoyed by my husband and son! Our waiter needed a bit more education on the menu because he couldn’t answer basic questions about items but overall worth the visit!

We got the steam shrimp and the snow crab. We also got the grouper which was okay in flavor. The coconut shrimp was good. The indoor dining looks very casual and is well lit like a cafeteria. The outdoor is lined with green light on the jetty and around the gazebo. The outdoor ambiance is nice in the evening with the cool breeze. The drinks were decent at the bar. The Pina colada is good and the Painkillers cocktail is also a good drink. Overall this is a very casual restaurant by the water with a nice ambiance outside and a newly renovated dining room and newly renovated deck. Nice place for watching the sunset and having a drink

Coming back from Corolla doing some horse watching we were heading home and wanted to grab a late bite. On a Sunday, pretty much most places were closed, but Sunset Grill. When we walk in the hostess said,”Just in time, you have about 10mins to order before the kitchen closes. The bar was still going so we sat down and asked for a menu. After a few mins of waiting, the bartender was cleaning and kind of ignoring us, another customer handed us their menu. We ordered some Firecracker Shrimp and Crabby fries. The bartender said “oh, the people who do the appetizers have left”, so we were like we cab only order main entrees fhen?, She said let me go check, once she came back she was like, ok they’re good to go for your food. We ordered 2 waters, a cranberry juice and a mixed drink. We waited about 10mins, before asking again. The whole time she was right in front of us washing glasses. She was nice, but clearly checked out for the night. Once we got our food we asked 4 times for silverware, the group next to us got their food, with no silverware either, finally one of them walked behind the bar to get some for 5 people. The food was ok, the Firecracker shrimp, had little to no seasoning. Fried good in a light tempora, but bland. The Crabby Fries were soaked with some topping, that overpowered the crab and made the top fries very soggy quickly. The set up of the place is very nice. Really nice inside and out, with a green lighting that looks cool. They have an upstairs and outside bar as well. Few people were fishing off the back peir. I’d give them a other chance, showing up 15mins before the kitchen closes might not have been the best, but still the bar was still open for another hour. Having a waitress might be better, because this bartender was not into her job at all.

We had a great dining experience! Out food came out very fast, our server was attentive and friendly, the food was delicious, and the views were amazing! Got a pineapple rum punch that really did pack a punch and did not disappoint. We will definitely be back!

Great food with even better views. Service was knowledgeable and friendly. We did wait a little for a table, but got a drink at the outside bar by the water. We were seated and ordered, food took very long to come out, mind you we had a party of 6 adults, that honestly was the only less then perfect part of our experience, otherwise 5 stars. We really enjoyed this place and would come back. Made for a special family dinner.

Indoor and outdoor seating available, inside is open with lots of window views of the sound. Food is decent. Had coconut shrimp and calamari fries for appetizers, both were good, but only 5 of each. For meal I had bacon wrapped scallops which were very good and half pound of shrimp, a couple didn’t get fully cooked. Also tried some ribs, which were good.
