My family and I went yesterday for lunch for the first time. Atmosphere is awesome and has great location … But we order a mofongo and it came with a fly… we return it and requested tacos instead.. they brought us back another mofongo.. so we return it again and got tacos.. although the service is fast all of the food we got was cold, so it only makes me think that everything is premade and left out. Chips served were soggy… and cocktails made with old mint leafs… I encourage for management to take closer look at the food and drinks being served. Place has a lo of potential too bad we had such experience.

Went to the Sunset Club after a banner day fishing. Had the Baja burger recommended to me, though I was admittedly skeptical of the tortilla chip/burger combo. Boy was I wrong. Great sauce and the chips gave it the right amount of crunch. Sizable patty and glistening brioche bun. And of course, you cannot beat the location.

Great food and a different sunset every night. Excellent location and the best outdoor bar in the Newburyport area. Pretty umbrella’d outdoor picnic tables in the sand, a fireplace, good music (sometimes it’s live). And a small indoor option in case the weather isn’t perfect. Such a wonderful local hangout spot.

Popped up from the city on a beautiful May Friday. At 5:00 it was a 30 minute wait for a table but no line for a drink at the bar. Table opened up within 20 minutes. Excellent staff. Tomatillo salsa was kinda bland but the Tuna Poke Bowl was excellent. Great cocktail list with decent beer selection. LOTS of kids running around – I’m sure that dies down later in the night. Fun merch available. Great spot.

My official new favorite place in the area that I’ve been taking all my visitors to. Not enough good things to say about this. There are a lot of places around NBPT with great vibes but this is the best. The atmosphere they’ve managed to create is extremely fun and laid back. The three frozen cocktails are fun and tasty, and the rum punch and piña colada are some of the best I’ve had. The menu has a little bit of everything — familiar favorites like the smash burger and tuna poke but also some different options like the beef skewers and strawberry gochujang wings (what a brilliant flavor combo). There’s a fire pit, a table in a “ship,” a second mini bar, and cornhole (which I’m actually good at !?!?). So grateful we have this on Plum Island.

I have mixed feelings about the sunset club. I love the atmosphere so much but the one time we ordered food there someone got food poisoning and other times I’ve waited a long time to get service from bartenders. It’s also pretty expensive for cocktails that aren’t strong. Outdoor vibe is unbeatable though.
