Now this is the truest “Family” restaurant around. The waitresses know most everyone that comes in by name. They are always friendly and talking with everyone! I’ve even witnessed a waitress sit for a moment with an elderly customer that was alone just so they didn’t “feel” alone. This is the place you want to grow old going to because here it is like a family gathering! The food is always good & the atmosphere is always friendly!

This was the first and last time going to this quaint diner. I ordered a basic breakfast with eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast. The eggs were browned(didn’t ask for well done eggs, they just came that way), the bacon very well done( didn’t ask for well done bacon), I did, however ask for well done hashbrowns and they were served regular. Basically, a breakfast that I could cook and I’m not a breakfast cook. Also, the service was subpar at best. There is only 1 server for the whole restaurant, even though it is a very small place, one can’t give the best service when they are stretched thin. I was a server for almost 2 decades and she was more focused on chatting with regulars than giving everyone attentive service. She didn’t check on me and I had to flag her down to get what i needed. I’m a great tipper, but today eating by myself I left $3. I pretty much always leave $5 or $6 when I’m alone. I won’t be back. There are too many other struggling small business near me that would appreciate my business.
