All I can say is delicious!! Loved the Italian and Godfather. They have a huge selection of subs and fresh soup every day. I had the chicken noodle and it was fantastic. Hope to be back soon!

I had this sandwich several years ago and I can still taste the incredible combination of flavors and textures that made up the meatball sub from Sunny and Annie’s Deli. It was more than just a sandwich – it was an experience that left me absolutely speechless. From the perfectly seasoned meatballs to the tangy marinara sauce and the perfectly toasted bread, every bite was an explosion of pure deliciousness. Since then, I’ve been on a mission to find a comparable meatball sub, but nothing comes close. It’s like this sandwich haunts me, tempting me to make the trek back to New York just to have it again.

Cute little place with a million sandwich options with funny names. Reading the “menu” on the wall is quite impossible, so just pick the first sandwich you find that is close to your likings and you would likely be happy. The 3 sandwiches we had were all excellent! These are large sandwiches so they can easily be shared by two if you’re not very hungry.

OMFG… The Pho #10 is probably the best, most creative sandwich I have had in recent memory. Hats off to this place. Sad I waited 2.5 years since moving into the neighborhood to order a sandwich here… This is my new go to.

We had a Pho 1 and a Philly cheese steak sandwich and both was awesome.

Sunny and Annie’s is very much a 24/7 neighborhood gem–come for the everyday corner shop convenience…but stay for the sandwiches (and order one!). this small family-owned store has been serving residents and visitors to the EV for years. the corner store is packed with a deli counter, snacks and candy, some grocery items, household goods and more.

hey you
The sandwich I got was good but the 3 stars is for the credit card fee. It’s illegal in New York State to charge customers for using a credit card as a form of payment. I will be reporting them to the Division of Consumer Protection.

A true old school bodega that still has a choice of coffee pots available to serve yourself. This place provided us with breakfast or lunch the majority of the time we were in the East Village. Friendly and efficient staff. The breakfast sandwiches will be the stuff of legends in our conversations long after other memories have faded!

I saw their bacon egg and cheese sandwich was listed on an NYC “must-try” list. It was tasty and cheap, though standard, so I don’t understand why it was on said list.
