Pretty easy to get in. We went on a Wednesday afternoon, end of August. Took a bit longer than expected to get a table, no hostess was there. (I think?) the owner, who was also bartending, brought us to our table. Our waitress came almost immediately, but it did take a bit to get our drinks, which were all quite simple. They have no sides menu, and no vegetable sides either! But the grilled chicken sandwich was great! And the fries were a unique shape, which I think made them very fun. Overall, would go here again, highly recommend.

Normally, I would never post Google reviews because I just don’t care that much, but the staff at Sundancer’s was so disrespectful to my parents and family – it was the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant (and I’ve been a server/bartender myself for ten years). My parents, aunt, uncle, and I went there for drinks to celebrate my aunt’s 63rd birthday. One of my aunt’s friends drove down separately to meet us, and she brought a birthday cake as a surprise. The server informed us at the table that we were not allowed to bring outside food or drinks – understandable. We apologized and said we didn’t see the sign on the door, it was an honest mistake. We asked if we could just put the cake in their refrigerator or on ice while we finished our drinks, then we planned to leave and celebrate at home. They said no, we had to put the cake in the car. Ok, fine. It took us a minute to sort out who had the car keys and who was going to run out to the car with the cake. More staff came back outside and yelled at us again, stating that there was a sign on the door about no outside food. Guys, it was a birthday cake, not a pipe bomb. I get it’s a license/food safety thing, but there was no need to speak to us the way they did. The server was getting fresh talking back to my father, and I lost it. We got up and paid our bill to leave, while the bartender and servers yelled at us and started throwing around the F bomb while we were walking out. I admit that I got upset and lost my cool as well, but you would too if people were berating your mother and father in public. Shameful. Other reviews for this place have said the same thing – that the staff are rude and unprofessional. All over a birthday cake. What a bunch of losers

The food and service was really great. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The only misstep was my wife’s drink. She ordered a mixed drink with 2-different rums, orange juice, pineapple juice, sparking water. They used tang or something similar and pineapple drink mix and rum that was the cheapest they could find, Horrible to say the least.

I would definitely go back the food was excellent the service was on point andvit looked like they had a magician there as well. I’m not gonna lie he looked a little scary with the black make up under his eyes and his top hat but I didn’t see the show if I had time I would of stayed. The place was packed

We were seated outside upon arrival. We both ordered the Cape Scrodder, fried native cod sandwich, which was excellent. Fries were also very good, although a few more would be better. Will definitely return.

Great food and a great view. Be sure to sit out on the deck to maximize your experience. Beware of the sun on a hot day. They do have umbrellas, but only part of the table is in the shade.

Just came from dinner at Sundancers and I was very disappointed. We have gone every summer for many years and this is the first time we had such a bad experience with the food. I ordered baked scrod with mixed veggies and twice baked potatoes. The fish had no flavor and the breadcrumbs had no butter and were completely dry. The veggies were obviously frozen and horrible. The potato was the only good thing. When I complained I got to order something else but there was no effort made to make an adjustment on the bill for the bad experience.

0 stars! This may be the saddest I’ve felt in writing a review. After over 30 years of my family being customers including hosting my own wedding rehearsal dinner here, celebrating milestones and watching my parents (my Dad no longer being here with us) have many a special date nights and family nights at Sundancers, I can no longer in good conscience return.

No good GLUTEN FREE options as stated in old reviews. No longer carry GF bread,. They have salad and some baked seafood All fried foods are gluten. Service was good waitress was nice. Place wasn’t busy but very loud. Food was ok but not really any choices wouldn’t recommend on the GF side. But good menu for those who can eat it. Decently priced.
