Solid local sandwich shop. The staff is nice enough and service is quick.

I know cost of running a busines has gone up but when your large sub is like really medium, and with a drink and chips its like $18…makes you not return. Cash only. So – no friendly deals – I think they actually resent the workers that come on a regular basis; been there for years and not once has anyone greeted me or anyone with me like a regular. Other places to go.

I drive by the sub shop often, and finally decided to drop in. I was not disappointed! I had the BLT sub, which was delicious. We also really enjoyed their own bottled soda, and will absolutely be back for another raspberry lime rickey!!!

The hours are not good: 6a to 3p. My main complaint is that it the year 2018, so I’m going to rate any business lower that doesn’t take credit cards. Their solution is to put a machine up that’ll charge you $1.50 on their end and probably $2.50+ from your bank. So unless you wanna pay $4 more for your food, bring cash. Unless you’re going to leave work early to pickup a sub, this is a breaksfast/lunch only place. Spicy fries were seasoned, but I wouldn’t call them spicy. Steak bomb sub was good, though! PB cookie was decent. Layout on inside was a little confusing. You don’t know where to stand to not be in the way while you wait because there’s stuff to buy on every wall of the place. I agree with other reviewers that an attitude adjustment is necessary (they must not be reading their reviews). No greeting on arrival or departure, and they seemed disgruntled, as though they’re anticipating you giving them a problem.

This is that small, non-chain sub shop that every town should have. I wouldn’t say the prices are all that unreasonable, as other posters have stated. It’s not Subway; you’re not getting a foot long for $5. But you’re supporting a small business and paying a little more for good quality good. I recommend the buffalo chicken and American subs.

I drive by this place a lot, and finally decided to stop by for lunch. The Shepherds Pie was the daily special. I asked how it was, and the lady said “good”, so I ordered it. It was delivered lightning fast! However, what I got was not Shepherds Pie. It was ground beef topped with corn, mashed potatoes, and gravy. More like a KFC famous bowl than a Shepherds Pie. When I say this thing was bland, I mean BLAND. Not a hit of salt, pepper, or any other seasoning. This establishment gets points for friendliness, cleanliness, and fast service… but that’s about it. I might give them a second chance to try their sandwich/subs since that is their specialty… but I definitely won’t order the Shepherds Pie again.
