My favorite Japanese style restaurant in town! I’ve been here at least 5 times and will keep returning. Their best dish is the XO Grill, try ittt. I also enjoy my sashimi as they always taste great! Also for starters, try the Bacon Inoki Roll, and Grilled Sea Scallop, my two favorite dishes!!

The food is absolutely delicious. From gyoza to fried ice cream, so many options to choose from! Highly recommended to go here on an empty stomach and treat yourself to various delicious dishes!

The seaweed salad had this puffy stuff likely made of rice. It looked like Styrofoam but was puffed rice. The sushi sashimi for two was average. It had this reconstituted tuna that was chopped finely and mixed with some crunchy stuff and fried. This is their attempt to avoid wasting food by making it appear attractive. The pictures are the dishes half eaten. The sushi chef touched his nose 3 times. Meh. Nothing spectacular. Don’t be impressed by the head sashes. The food has a Japanese flair but nothing great here.

Fri (8/4/23) – Returned once again to my favorite BYOB and Mango Chicken dinner before enjoying a beautiful night of drum corps at J Birney Crum Stadium! This place is my annual favorite pre-drum corps dinner place! Everything from the delicious salad with ginger dressing (they need to bottle this stuff – it’s soooo good!) to my entree was perfection. My husband’s sashimi platter is always a spectacular vision (although the pieces have become noticeably smaller since the pandemic). And the vegetable tempura and shrimp appetizer our friend ordered was expertly prepared and delicious. We WILL be returning and wish they would open a place nearer to us in NJ!

We ordered delivery and the order was pretty messed up. The food was good but not what we ordered. I ordered online so there isn’t much of an excuse of misunderstanding someone on the phone. I am allergic to shrimp so when I got a sushi roll with shrimp in it, I was really upset. The other roll I got was what I ordered and it was really good. My friend who ordered with me also did not get the correct sushi roll. They didn’t like it and it was wasted. Overall I just hope they learn how to read their online orders so people get what they pay for rather than having to throw it away.
