This joint has dope food. The service was too fast for couples who bought a babysitter which is not a usual thing to mention. The scallop volcano dish was phenomenal. Definitely check this place out.

We have been wanting to try this place for a while and glad we finally did. Went on a thrusday around 5:30pm. No wait but it got busy soon after we arrived. It does seem that it gets busy as it is not a big restaurant so if you go on at prime time it expect a wait. The staff was extremely friendly and the welcoming. Our server took the time up recommend their special and other rolls in the menu. We had the spicy edamame and 3 rolls. All were delicious and tasted fresh. We will definitely go back and recommend to anyone thinking about it.

All of our sushi was amazing. The woman making our sushi had a great smile and did a great job. We also talked to a woman that must have been owner or manager…she spoke with pride about the measures they take to serve quality food. This was my 2nd time here but my son goes regularly and sushi is great every time.

Good sushi. They were a little busy and took a bit of a wait. They were Short staffed but we were in no hurry tonight. Food came out and was fresh and looked good. Would recommend.

Updated Review: Came here last week but didn’t go so well. My husband ordered the volcano roll (the one they set on fire) …. when he took a bite, he immediately said it was drenched in lighter fluid. I thought he was exaggerating so I had a piece for myself. It was as if the roles were still drenched in whatever fluid they used to set it on fire (truly tasted like some sort of light fluid). It was absolutely unedible. When the waitress came by we told her about the taste and all she did was say she was so sorry. She did not offer to replace it and we still had to pay for it. I feel really sad because the other roles we had and this sashimi were good, but not sure we will be coming back, and if so the volcano roll is out of the question….

Absolutely love it here! They have seating at the bar. Service was fast and good. I ordered a house salad with ginger dressing (dressing was a tad spicier than I’m used to but good) and the Crunch Roll which was fabulous!! The Crunch Roll is shrimp tempura, crab, cucumber, tempura flakes, eel sauce, avocado, fish eggs – yummm.

I ordered form this place on Uber eats. My food was poorly packaged, looks very unappetizing, the sauce is only poured on 2 rolls! This was very disappointing. My 6 avacado rolls came so small! Tiniest rolls I’ve ever seen. The rice is spilled out of all of the rolls! I’m very disappointed. I spent $40 on 3 small unappetizing trays of sushi.

I don’t like to leave a bad post but when you get bad service at the front door you should leave a bad post! I’ve been out of town for 10 days and I came home at noon on my birthday April 21 and decided to go to Sumo Sushi which is in my neighborhood and I’ve never been. When greeted at the door I was told that there was a very long wait and if I was willing to wait then they can take care of me. Now I understand being busy but chasing your customers out the door at the front especially on their first experience and their birthday is a little bit disappointed to me in the business world. So I probably won’t come back thank you They did have vacant tables?
