This place was good, nothing extraordinary in my opinion. My husband and I both enjoyed our meals for the most part. His brisket was pretty dry, but he did enjoy the sides and ribs. I got the prime rib with mashed potatoes and it was best smothered with the gravy. We would return to try other things on the menu though for sure. We liked the app the best, Texas Twinkies.

My husband got the fried chicken and it was delicious! The chefs featured sandwich was a chicken birria taco, but I probably won’t get it again. The Texas twinkie was delicious! My husband loved the pork skins appetizer and the toppings were very yummy.

Went here for a get-together to celebrate and commemorate our coworker friend moving elsewhere to begin her new adventure. The server kept up with our large party amazingly, and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal through our laughter and stories. I loved the blueberry lemon drop and the chicken livers I ordered. The Bar-B-Q sauce that was served with the livers was an unexpected treat. The back section was a very accommodating atmosphere for our rowdy bunch, but I would definitely recommend this place whether you have a big party or not.

The bartender was very knowledge about his spirits and beers, and made some excellent recommendations. Our server was also friendly and helpful. The pretzels were fantastic, hot, moist, and fresh, and the beer cheese had a great flavor.

We’ve been to Summit Grill 3x. It’s usually pretty good. Tonight we were celebrating an anniversary. The rolls were the showstopper. A sweetness brushed on top with a sprinkle of poppyseeds. We both tried the chicken tortilla soup, recommended by our server. It was very salty, too much cicken and no tortilla strips. Entrées: I ordered the Salmon. It was cooked to perfection and paired with a lovely dill sauce. The baked potato was a good size and generosly topped but a little undercooked. My husband ordered the beef tenderloin medallions. They were a great size and texture but came out rare when ordered medium. We took them home to finish cooking later. Our server was the sweetest. Very apologetic and bought him a dessert. The NY cheesecake was good. The carrot cake was not. It was so cold–almost like eating an ice cream cake. The cream cheese frosting needs more cream cheese in it. The cake was seriously bland. No spice, no nuts, no raisins. Not worth the calories. I was disappointed as I always save room for carrot cake. The service is great, ambiance is great, bathrooms are the best. I’d go back for rolls and drinks.

We have been here twice, and the first time was fine, not great, but worth going back because the place is very clean, the staff is nice, and one visit isn’t always indicative of a restaurants quality. 2nd visit: I ordered the elk “chop”, it is $50. It was tiny (see picture) , dry, unseasoned, and tough. This was their chefs “special”. We also had their BBQ combo, which was slightly better only in size. Giving 2 starts because their wait staff is better than their food.

Our server wanda was knowledgeable and had good reccomendations. The drinks from the bar were fabulous, the brisket made me want to cry at every bite. It was the best I’ve probably ever had! everything was fabulous, and although we are not from around here, if we are ever in town we WILL be back! thank you for providing my fiance and I a great experience!
