Such a great first visit to this restaurant! We were pleasantly surprised and amazed by them! For drinks we got a sweet tea and a bacon old fashioned, which were well made. For the meals, we ordered the breakfast waffle sandwich, a berry french toast, and scrambled eggs with bacon. Every thing came out within 15 minutes of ordering and was all so delicious. The food was so good that we even chose to get a dessert, which was a delicious creme brulee. Overall super impressed and cannot wait to go again!

My wife and I sampled the Sugar Magnolia shrimp and grits while at the Jekyll Island shrimp and grits festival and thought I would look them up while staying in Statesboro. Although there was plenty of outdoor and indoor seating , I sat at the bar, and the bartender Amanda was professional, helpful, and prompt. The decor is somewhat rustic, and there was a good vibe with several friendly patrons. I had the cheese tray and pork chop with brussels sprouts.

I love this little place. I usually stop in when my job takes me to Statesboro. Marcy at the bar is amazing and sweet. Food is great. Actually met the chef today and he wasn’t offended at all by my suggestions! Very nice place. My experience here has been great!

The food here was amazing! I ordered the she-crab soup and fried pita sandwich. Both were absolutely excellent. The server was new but very attentive. The tea was okay; not quite sweet enough for “southern” style but that’s just my personal preference. The fries were seasoned and really great! Its expensive, though, over $30 after tip. Quality is worth it, but this is a rare treat, not daily lunch.

I had to stop in the middle of our brunch to write this review. The atmosphere is amazing, music is spot on. I feel like I’m in Italy. We had the house special and it really amazed us. I really recommend everybody to stop by!!

Arrived at 2 PM on Thursday, July 27. Only had 3 people working the front of the house. One was waiting on all the customers, one was busy cleaning, getting ready to close, and the third gentleman was obviously knew because he was wandering around aimlessly. We placed our order- two chicken, parm sandwiches, a hamburger, and a Cuban. All of these were ordered with fries. The two chicken Parm sandwiches were completely cold. They were refrigerator cold. The Cuban was cold to the touch, not pressed like a traditional Cuban and all 3 served on stale bread. The only thing hot was the hamburger. All of the fries had been sitting because they to were barely warm. We told the waitress and she took the two chicken Parm‘s away in about two minutes later, brought them back to the table, and the only thing different was the bread on the outside was even harder than it was the first time and barely warm, but the chicken inside the sandwich was still cold. They took the same sandwiches that they pulled away from our table, and evidently just tried to throw them in the microwave . This was after each one of us it already taken a bite out of the sandwich. How do they get away with doing this when it’s been brought back to the table, do you even really know that you’re getting your sandwich that you ate off of back? They were still cold and we told her just to take them off the bill. Plate of fries were finally brought out when we were ready to go. This place is way too expensive to be serving this quality of food. It was poor it best. I think it’s poor customer service when you have people eating at your establishment to be spraying all the tables with cleaner all around them and sweeping and everything else if you close at 3 the. that’s when you should be doing your cleaning. There was another party of four leaving at the same time we were and they were also complaining that their food was not hot and fresh. Just another restaurant in Statesboro that doesn’t care what kind of food it serves its patrons. We won’t be back.
