Today was me and my boyfriend’s first time eating at Sugar Magnolia! We both got there chicken and waffles which were bomb and we got super full because the portions was awesome! Also they serve there drinks in the cutest big mason jars and I got there homemade lemonade which was amazing! I highly recommend Sugar Magnolia!

Ok soooo we have been wanting to try this place for awhile and ever since Kenny’s shut down we had to get over our disappointment that we would no longer be able to have Kenny’s anymore so with that being said we went to try it out. First impression when we walked in the door…. it looks a lot better with the new renovations. Very nice looking. Carpet is still the same old carpet that was at Kenny’s. We were greeted right away and sat at our table. We got our waters in a mason jar which was neat. Pretty sure water was from the tap but no big deal and not 100 percent on that but that’s what it tasted like, I ordered the meatloaf with macaroni salad mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese my significant other ordered hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. These are suppose to either come with corn bread or rolls. We chose rolls which came out cold which was very disappointing but they were still good definitely not anywhere close to the worse bread I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Our food didn’t take long but one of our biggest issues was I got macaroni and cheese pie and he got instant macaroni and cheese….I’m assuming they ran out of the pie and had to make some instant Mac and cheese, so that was disappointing. Macaroni salad wasn’t the best for my liking but Someone else might like it that way. My meat loaf was DELICIOUS and the mashed potatoes were also FANTASTIC! My significant other said the hamburger steak was pretty good he liked it. After we were finished we ordered a piece of chocolate cake…. I am very picky about cake because I loooove it so much….. and I’m not a big fan of chocolate but this cake was awesome , literally if you don’t want to go for anything else go for the freaking cake! So yummy and rich! Prices were not awful in my opinion. Best word of advice, just try it. Worse case scenario you don’t like it and you never go back or you love it and you keep going over and over again. Good luck!

We ate there for the first time today. Im not imprisoned at all with taste. The meatloaf ok. The pintoes I didnt like and I love pintoes cooked right.nor dud I like the cornbread. The potatoes were just ok . I was disapointed .The service was good tho.Friendly staff.

Awful service horrible food. Cornbread was cold and doughy butter was froze. Chicken and dumplings no dumpling. Was out of tea. Sides had no flavor. Would have gave it 0 stars if I could.

I went for lunch and ordered the Italian Sub with potato salad.The BEST Italian Sub I’ve eaten from any restaurant!! The bread was DELICIOUS MMMMM GOOD.. I’m looking forward to trying everything on the menu.

Was very disappointed. we waited for over 10 minutes to even get our drinks the waitress that had that section went by our table at least 7 times and didn’t even acknowledge us another waitress had to come and wait on us and there was only 5 tables taken up so not busy. Then got our order all messed up. The waitress we did end up with was rude and not friendly.
