Starr was My sandwich artist, and She made My food exactly the way I wanted it, great location too. Wish it wasn’t closing soon, apparently they don’t get enough business with Meconi’s there across the street. Sad though, great location, only 3-4 easily walkable blocks to yummy deliciousness, and they are open til 8 pm, an hour or so later than Meconi’s Italian Subs directly across the Capital.

I ordered a sandwich online, with extra meat which I paid for. It was the worst sandwich I had ever gotten from Subway. when you get a meatball sandwich you expect there to be some kind of sauce with it. When I got my sandwich it was the driest thing you could ever see. The employee told me that they ran out of meatballs so I couldn’t have the extra meat which I was charged for. I was informed that I couldn’t get a refund for the sandwich. I ended up spending an extra $15 at the restaurant across the street. Which was a whole lot better

This subway has been one of my local places for work lunches. I recommend ordering online. They always have everything ready by the time of arrival. Ingredients are fresh. Staff is friendly. The only downside is that they are not accepting coupons at this time. I get that because of everything going on in the world though. There is even a small parking lot behind the building for customers. Pretty much unheard of for downtown Olympia.

I go here because it’s very close to where I live. I haven’t had a problem with the food, however some of the staff needs to work on their work ethic. I wanted to sit down and and eat, but the tables had crumbs on them and looked like they should have been wiped down. The girl working there just went to the back and sat down. There were no other customers, which means she could have been cleaning the lobby.

I actively avoid this Subway. If you have to go, do the math on your total. Whenever I purchase a meal with a price listed on the menu, the register shows it as 10-20 cents more than it’s supposed to be. It’s not like a couple cents is going to bankrupt me, but this happens to everyone buying that meal, and it has to add up over time. Very shady.

I was very polite and understanding with the staff. I know her job sucks and people suck. I recently quit a subway after a few years. but when the person in front of me asked for less lettuce, she seemed irritated as if it was inconvenient. The same happened with any requests I had with veggies. I stayed friendly and she responded so I assumed that maybe I was misunderstanding and assuming her tone. My sandwich had the meat heated separately as I requested but when I sat down to eat it was frozen. Maybe it just wasn’t pulled early enough at night and didnt have time to thaw so that’s why the microwave didnt heat it enough. I told the staff I totally understood. Its happened to me. I asked her to just put it back in the microwave however long she needed. When she gave it back, I realized she put the entire sandwich in and it was all mushy and melted and the veggies were very hot. I felt bad at the misunderstanding but I just couldnt eat it. I went back and apologized and asked for a refund and she responded that I had told her to do it, made sure to point out that she needed to re-charge me for my warm tea, which I accepted, and then it was over. The entire time she seemed annoyed and impatient. I tried to be super understanding and was very apologetic with every mistake she made and every misunderstanding that happened. But she was never friendly in return and I had to push the kindness really hard to even get a polite reply. She has long dark purple hair in a ponytail.
