I won’t return. Your employee looked annoyed to see a customer come in. I ordered a 12 inch meatball and another sandwich. I watched as she loaded sauce on. Then i saw that she ran out of meatballs and loaded more sauce on to complete the sandwich. She was about to wrap it when i asked if that was too much sauce and not enough meatballs. She replied that she was only one short. I asked if there were more in back. She hesitated looking more annoyed. Then went in back and tossed was i assumed was a cold meatball onto my sandwich. I was just going to leave then but i paid and left. The bread was of course mushy and mangled when i got home. I scraped off about a cup of sauce, heated it because it was cold. As i eat this mess i regret not leaving when i thought about it.

The one person that was on staff was slammed. Multiple “party orders”, shame on manager to be short staffing a day that is big for them. I am aware there is a major labor shortage, but companies are getting through it without sacrificing employees they have. Anyway, she did great. Was very apologetic, I assured her it wasn’t a big deal. Another man did as well, who was there to get his party platter. Being nice to one another, or just not being a tool, can change things quickly into a positive environment. Be kind.

I worked at this subway for 5 months. The owner Rahul is truly the most selfish, cheap, and evil man I have ever met. He goes around pretending to be a saint to his costumers while he sexually harasses and verbally abuses his employees. He treated me like a dog and constantly called me names. He once “playfully” choked a female worker. He threw boxes at me and called me dumb. I constantly went home crying. Please think twice before eating here. The workers are good people and do not deserve to be treated like dogs. Also the food is not fresh and is truly disgusting.

I worked at this Subway on Cerritos and Los Alamitos for about 2 weeks. Hema owner is a nice lady she knows how to talk to her employees but her husband Rahul he is the worst owner I ever worked with. He doesn’t know how to treat his employee’s. He is so cheap that’s the only word for him *CHEAP*. He always tried to belittle me from the very first day i started working. He never appreciate his employees. One of the customer asked me to put more veggies on the sandwich he got mad at me and said don’t put that much veggies instead charge customer more for veggies. I have been working in another Subway since 3 years we never charge the customer for extra veggies. I request everyone to check their receipt. They even use the same ice tea whole day. It’s not even fresh I was about to throw it around 7 o clock evening. Food inspector was there too. He told me in front of inspector that am I going to serve ice tea from the drain if i throw it. That doesn’t even make sense. I was new to the store so I didn’t say anything i kept it back whereas i know ice tea should be made after 4 hours. He tells us to switch off the a/c too early or it has some kind of automatic setting it’s not even the right temperature to work there. He is doing everything against the law. Even the food served there is not at the right temperature. I have seen fungus on the flatbreads. It’s the worst Subway I have ever worked in. Please try and avoid eating in this store.

If your a young lady then you probably want to stay away from this subway for employment. The owner and his wife run this store. The wife is in denile and acts like nothing is happening which in its self is a crime and the owner can’t keep his hands off the teenage employees. Even going as far as following girls in the freezer and hugging and touching the employees. This happened to my step daughter , On several occasions . Pressing to take further action. The incidents have been reported to the police. If you or anyone you know have experienced this please do the next girl a favor and report it. Pretty lame for a first job experience.

Subway in Los Alamitos across from the High School-The sign on the door says they close at 9PM. My son showed up at 8:56PM last night to get a sandwich. The girl behind the counter was on her cell phone. He patiently waited until 858PM and then made eye contact with her (still on her phone) and tried to order a sandwich. She said “Nope, we’re closed”. He left with no sandwich and a LOT of frustration. If you are going to post business hours then you need to honor them. Terrible customer service and frankly an embarrassing statement for management.
