We ate at this subway Monday and the two guys that were working were not typical fast food employees. These guys actually acted like they cared. So nice to see a service person smile and treat customers nice! Great job! I hope y’all own your own restaurant someday!

The opening staff were terrible. I came in to get breakfast and there was loud rap music playing across the restaurant, which was fine, what WASN’T fine was how obviously disgruntled the staff were to see us there. One female employee exited the bathroom, walking directly in front of me and managed to completely ignore the fact that I was attempting to greet her. The staff here have been less than professional before but that was the last time I’ll ever try to stop here.

When we walked up to the door there was a male employee blocking the door and on his cell phone. When we walked in and stood at the counter, he finally told whoever he was talking to that he had customers and would call right back. We asked for jalapeño cheddar bread..and he said “we don’t really carry that bread, it’s just on the sign”. Ummm ok..then cross it off your bread list maybe? Then my sister asked for a ham and provolone..only to be told “oh, we don’t have provolone, just Swiss and white american cheese”…really?? When we said “no thank you then” he didn’t even wait until we walked away from the counter before he pulled his cell phone out and got back on the phone. The store smelled bad and the floor looked like it hasn’t been swept/mopped for weeks. The franchisee might as well close this place down. I should have read the reviews BEFORE we went in.

One Person working during lunch, NO A/C, apparently had been not working for over a week. The heat had taken its toll on the veggies and the cheese. I asked for fresher product due to the incredible HEAT inside the building.

I had the daily six inch special sub. Friday is tuna fish and it was good. The bread was fresh, so no problems. All the restaurant chairs were upside down on top of the tables, so either they just finished sweeping or they didn’t want anyone to dine in. Is that a Galveston thing?

The young Man that was there at 6:45 p.m was AMAZING. He made my Dinner order of 3 Footlong Subs and a Chicken & Bacon Salad with limited ingredients. His explanation was understandable.

As you would expect from Subway. It smells great. However, they advertised gluten free bread, but didn’t have any. Nor did they have bowls to make a salad. Disappointment

This place is almost never open or 90% of the time you walk in and they say they are closing or closed. It’s Friday evening and they are posted short hours to close at 7pm. It’s 6:30 and in the short few minutes I have been here they have chased off 6 customers refusing to serve them because they are cleaning and want to go home. When businesses are desperate for business right now and many are closing up permanently it’s surprising that this place can afford to chaae off so many customers. This is at least the 10th time in 4 months that I have been chased off before the posted close time. It’s time to find a place who wants the business. I am not coming back!
