8-06-23. Night shift. I came to the door at 9:40pm. The door is locked I called and asked why they were closed so early. The lady replied its busy. I told her I was just at the door and they had 1 customer inside while door locked. I asked if they can get me in for 1 sub and she replied they are closed. I wasn’t trying to argue but state of it say 9 that you close why close so early. She hung up on me. The customer is always right and this location should stay open to the time it reads. If closing is at 830 post it. It seems like it’s at the convenience of the worker while collecting pay. This need to change. They also came out the door all three of them. It was 1 female and 2 males they opened the door and waved at me. That’s not acceptable at all. This was between 8:30-8-45pm. I honestly feel offended by them coming out and waving at me.

I have been to this Subway several times with good service and good food. This morning was the absolute opposite. Upon entering I was not greeted while the only worker that I saw was preparing bread. I didn’t have on my glasses so I ask. You do serve breakfast sandwiches correct because I don’t have my glasses. She didn’t say anything I asked again and she said “yes if you look”. I said I don’t have my glasses and I don’t see it. She then pointed to the board with the breakfast menu which is smaller then the main menu, easy to overlook. I left without ordering. I went back in to ask for a manager and was told they were not yet in. I will follow up with a call to the store. I applaud and review good service as equally as I write on terrible service. This young lady Kelsey was incredibly rude and needs some training on customer service.

On any typical day coming in this establishment has been a headache and a nuisance sometimes when you trying to just get a simple sandwich inappropriate time frame.. But today that all changed, Ms Regina, with the praise the welcoming and their polite demeanor set the tone soon as I walk through the door all the way to cashing out at the end. The team she had with her did a great job, and I was in and out of there as how it always should be.. most of the subways in the area only staff with one maybe two people. This location always has three people but it’s the slowest one in Jacksonville’s… But today show it can be done and I appreciate the urgency and the teamwork they put in to get us in and out on a beautiful day.. Thank you Mrs Regina You help remind me why I will come back to eat here .

Nothing wrong with the food or service. Food was hot and fresh, friendly staff, and the restaurant was clean. The one star is for Kelly the manager. She was very friendly to customers, but I didn’t like the way she was speaking to her employees. We came during the lunch rush so there was a decent-sized line to order. Kelly seemed extremely stressed and was snapping at the employees in a voice loud enough the entire restaurant could hear. She made a comment to the young lady working the register about how she wasn’t pushing the correct button, and while I understand wanting your employees to do their jobs correctly and efficiently, she said it in a condensing and demeaning tone. It was unprofessional and inappropriate. She was so worried about what the girl on the register was doing that she could hardly keep her eyes on what she was doing herself. The girl behind the register did a fine job, she just seemed to be new. Apparently, nobody was moving fast enough for Kelly. You could feel the tension in the room because of her. I’ve worked in customer service many years. A well-run establishment does not let you see the stress of the rush. They just push through as quickly and efficiently as they can. Customers understand that there are rushes, but there is no need to be yelling at the top of your lungs and barking orders at employees. This seems like a high-stress and hostile work environment.

My family eats here at least once per week. Often we use Uber Eats. Tonight Uber and their driver completed messed up my order. Uber Eats customer support sucks! They wouldn’t give me a refund! I went to Subway to reorder our food… told them what happened and they hooked me up! Thank you to the team working tonight for the assist!

Ordered online. Website offered curbside pickup so we chose that. Even made us put in make and color of our car. My wife went to pick it up and when she pulled up called to let them know she’s here for her order. One of the employees decided to be incredibly rude and told her to come inside saying “there is no curbside pickup and you should know that”. The going inside wasn’t a problem but the rudeness was. Sandwiches were slapped together and messy and she was all around a really rude person. Wife could hear her cussing and talking to her coworkers in a nasty tone as she was walking out. Don’t know what her damage was but it was really just uncalled for.

Went to this location tonight at 9:30. Go to walk in and am met at the door by a young man that was sweeping. There was a young lady behind the counter helping two other customers. The young man said “we are out of food”. I understand it was only 30 minutes until close and they want to get out but there is no way they are out of food. Absolutely poor service to say this and turn a customer away. I would completely u set stand if bread selection was low or even out and get a salad instead but was told they were just out of food while currently making subs for the two other customers already in there. I will absolutely not ever return to this location. Now I’m driving out of my way to go to another location where hopefully service will be much better.
