Horrible experience yesterday the older lady prepared my sub and over covered it with mayonnaise and mustard literally 4 pickles and a bunch of onions I chose to not be aggravation and ignore it. Then when I got to check out I asked her for oil & vinegar packets and she put one of each in my bag, no problem (I had a footlong sub, not that it matters but I wanted more and when I asked for more she got an attitude and said “really how much do you need” very rudely. The lady who I believe was the manager went and got me more and apologize for her. I understand people have to work but personally I think that the older lady in there is a too old to be working if she’s going to treat people that way & have such a hard time squeezing the bottles that she ends up squeezing as hard as she can causing it to explode way too much mayonnaise and mustard on the sub.

The open sign was on, people were ordering and people were dining in the restaurant when I went. The front door was locked so I went in through the side door thinking they were open. The lady making the subs was overly rude and in a very nasty, loud tone of voice said, “We are closed!” while giving me a very hateful look. Taken aback by her actions while she was literally making subs for two people in line, I responded, “Well, based on your attitude, I will never come here again. You just lost a customer forever.” I visited this place at least once a week for the longest time but will never step foot into that establishment again.

My wife uses the Subway App to order, and pay, at this Subway around 2:00-4:30PM at least once per week (often twice per week) so she can swing by and pick up our order on her way home from MUSC. Their website usually says something like “Open until 8PM, Confirmed by the business 3 days ago”, but the last SEVERAL times she has stopped to pick up our order (With the sign showing “OPEN”), everything was locked, and no one answers the phone. Out of five attempts to pick up an order between 2PM and 4PM last month, we were only able to actually pick up an order ONCE. I have no idea what’s happened with this franchise location, but since the Pandemic started it’s been “Hit or Miss” as to whether you’ll actually get your order or not. As I type this, my wife just texted (4:05PM) and said, “Sorry my love, Subway is closed again. Apparently they’re closing at 3PM every day now”… This is sad, this used to be such a great place.

I love, love, love when you have a problem and a manager handle it right away. I had a minor problem about 2 months ago, but I was truly amazed at how the Owner/Manager took care of matters and immediately did whatever was morally and ethically correct to make it right. I am very pleased of the outcome. The Owner/Manager wasn’t aware of the situation until a few weeks ago but she took care of it. She telephoned me immediately, and when she couldn’t reach me, she sent an email to me. She was an excellent listener, very approachable, courteous, kind and immediately stated how grateful she was that I informed her. For me, this is a business I would continue to go no matter what. She showed by her excellent customer service that her customers mean a lot to her. So, I am telling everyone, if you’re on Main Road, Johns Island, SC, to please stop and visit this Subway!! Having happy customers is very important to this business and that means a lot to me!!!

We absolutely love the ladies at this Subway location. We went there on 3 separate occasions and got subs before heading to the beach. The ladies were all so sweet & nice. They made our sandwiches with loads of love and care. We will definitely be going back every time we are in the area.

The ceiling and light fixtures are very dusty. In addition, the ceiling tiles look as if they need to be replaced due to moisture damage. The bread was mostly soft except the ends were hard. They were very light on veggies despite being asked to put more veggies. For example, they put 5 olive slices on a 12″ sub. The price was right for what we got, but I was not impressed. Will pay more for better quality and cleaner store.

I hurriedly arrived at 8:48pm, and they closed at 9p, but the sweet, good-natured girl behind the counter fixed my sandwich with a smile. She even suggested toasting my bread in spite of the time. I left around 8:54 with the great sandwich I had been craving.

I ordered online 3 weeks ago.I take my break,drive 14 miles to Subway to find them closed in the middle of the day..I can deal with that,but what I refuse to deal with is them charging me for something I never received,and now have been begging for 3 weeks to get my money back..And I am being ghosted by them..Just a heads up yall,DONT EVER ORDER ONLINE FROM THEM
