I guess they just close early whenever they want? Windows clearly stated drive-through open until 9 PM. Whoever was inside the window couldn’t even bother to come tell me that they closed early. They just walked away and ignored. Absolutely ridiculous.

This is the 2nd time I’ve ordered delivery through the app that I did not receive my whole order. Called store and no answer even though still business hours. The app doesn’t provide the ability to dispute or request refund. First time, I was told they couldn’t do anything because of Door Dash. I didn’t order Door Dash. I ordered through their app if they outsource, that should be on me to eat a loss. I will no longer order through the app and do NOT recommend this location for delivery orders. My order was over $72, so it’s not like I didn’t place a decent order and I paid 15% tip on an incomplete order!!

This place has went so downhill. My son ate subway 4 to 5 times a week up until recently. We gradually went down to about twice a month within the last year, and they still can’t get it right. First off, it is absolutely disgusting for someone to drag a bracelet up and down my sub as they make it. Then I say something, only for a glove to be pulled up, an attitude given, and the bracelet to fall back out with the charm dragging across my sub again. So I no longer eat a this subway but my son wanted to stop. So we stopped again last week. At the register, I give the girl $20.35 for a bill that is $10.35. She hands me the change back that I had given her and I say no I want a $10 back, she tells me I’ve already mashed the button. I said OK well I want a $10 back. She was so confused. After about 5 minutes, she had to get a manager. Why is she running the register without supervision, if she can’t count money? That was just my last two experiences at this subway. No need to go back any further because it’s something every time!

I frequent this place and would really like to give it more stars but I have noticed lately that the only time this place is worth going to is when (1) certain manager is on duty. He is a young male with glasses, not sure of his name, but he keeps the place in order. Any other time, the franchise is completely upside down. Nasty. And as you can see in the picture, the employees seem to not care at all about what they’re doing. Not only did all of my toppings fall off of my sub, but the onions and green peppers were chopped so large that I had to re-chop. Also the skin was left on the onion. The store was a wreck. Nothing stocked, and the veggie/meat bar was a disaster. People need to take more pride in their jobs. If you don’t like your job or don’t want to be there, do something about it, but it’s not the customers fault.

I’ve read the previous reviews and recognized the store has new management. This is easily one of the best Subways I’ve ever been to. Fast and polite service, fresh veggies and meats. Very clean and relaxing environment.

If I could give them a negative star I would because I ordered food online and was to pickup at this location and after charging my card and I get there they are closed no one to be found so how about I can email subway to get in touch with someone about anything wow!! So Jimmy John’s it is and from now on ,no more subway … I’m so angry because the food was dinner to hungry teenage boys who are angry as heck at me over this.

The building was very clean, and my sub was spot on. But, when I paid with my debit card the cashier told me to push the “no tip’ button because the employees didn’t get the tips that the owner kept them. Everyone who came in behind me that paid wirh debit, she told them the same thing. To me that is very rude and should be taken up with management, not customers.

Been coming here for years and food is decent but Valdese location is much better right now due to several things. Is there a way to find out owner name and contact number? I am wondering if the owner is aware that a certain set of employees do not answer the phone at all, and turn all the lights off on sign and in dining a couple of hours before actual closing, keep the drive thru closed, and sit out back? I have noticed business has dropped considerably – you would think the owner would be concerned. And when you go in to order, they act like it’s an imposition. The last time we went, one of them was cleaning the drink machine and set all the “cleaned” parts right on the cash register counter (where we were trying to pay) and also where everyone touches and leaves/handles money. Then she put them right back together without wiping again after touching the dirty counter. Sad that people don’t value the work they are doing more than that.
