Studebaker Alley is one of Kittitas County’s go to places for outdoor fun and entertainment. The menu has a menu of fried chicken sandwiches. It has an eclectic range of appetizers and our signature rib tips and blackberry-lemonade. Don’t forget to bring the kids, we serve nine different flavors of soft serve ice cream. First time being there. The atmosphere was great. Not much of a crowd on a Wednesday around noonish, but the staff was great and friendly. The food was good. They have a Whote BBQ sauce, which goes well as a dipping sauce for fries.

With the current reviews we decided to take a chance on Studebaker Alley. Great outdoor seating and atmosphere, prices for food were very reasonable, and the owners dog was our outdoor neighbors ( which my daughter loved). We were a party of 6 and each one of our dishes came out one at a time and about ten minutes apart. We were only one of two tables having lunch- not sure if the cooks know how to multitask? I opted for the Nashville chicken sandwich based on the recommendation of the waitress. When it finally came out, the sauce was so thick and gritty I couldn’t get past the second bite. And the soft serve machine wasn’t working….We probably won’t be back.

Went to Bonzi Teriyaki which shares the Studebaker menu and seating.. anyway ordered the 2 piece fried chicken and sides.. the chicken was pretty good, moist and crunchy but the sides need work.. the macaroni and cheese was HORRIBLE.. the milk & cheese separated from noodles and was super liquidity & no flavor.. the creamy coleslaw was nothing special.. basic and pretty bland..taste like the kind you get at the grocery store deli. Seating at the restaurant was cute & quaint but they keep it FREEZING in there.. had to eat in my coat

This place is a must if you’re driving by Cle Elum. Stopped here on our way back across the state and I’ve got to say that of all the chicken sandwiches I’ve had, this had to have been the best one. The man working there that day was very helpful when we walked by since there are 2 restaurants right next to each other in the alley and in helping us decide which sauce to get.

The hot Nashville chicken sandwich was good. Tasty dry rub and big portions for a reasonable price. It did take over 40 minutes for our food to come out in a restaurant with only 2 other tables though.

Food is amazing, 6 stars, we had the garlic fries and the Alabama white chicken sandwich. Service is a challenge, what restaurant doesn’t have staffing challenges these days.

Studebaker Alley is a gem! It has quaint, rustic alley seating or rooftop seating with the best hot chicken sandwich west of Nashville. (My wife said the regular chicken sandwich is great, too.) Great beer and wine selection plus a full bar. Friendly and attentive staff. A real find in Cle Elum for cross state travelers who need a “great experience” break!

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. They were out of everything we tried to order. The food we did order wasn’t good. The chicken sandwich was cold and rock hard with stale bread. The drinks were terrible. You couldn’t taste the mixer. We were brought our bill and then charged a higher amount because our drinks were apparently on a separate bill that wasn’t provided. I wouldn’t eat here again for any reason.
