Strega is a small upscale Italian restaurant with a modern feel. The menu is simple but sophisticated at the same time. The focaccia bread is flavorful and well seasoned. The meatballs and sauce are traditional Italian excellence. The scallop appetizer was cooked to perfection. I was able to taste the gnocchi and it was a little more dense than usual but still good.

This is a great little spot in Milford! The owners are so friendly and you feel like you’ve known them for years. Food is delicious and the bar tender Joel is so friendly and amazing! The espresso martini is divine. I love hanging out to just chat. Everyone who comes here is happy and has an appetite for delicious meals!

A small, upscale Italian restaurant on the Post road in Milford. I can’t say enough about the fantastic food and the service. There’s plenty of parking in the back so don’t let the front parking lot scare you want. This place is a must try for anyone that likes Italian food.

Naples and Campagna in Milford! If you like authentic southern Italian fare and not Italian-American troughs, Strega is a must. All Italian fresh ingredients prepared as you would find in Naples and the Amalfi coast. Pizza made as it was invented, superb crust and refined innovative fresh toppings not overwhelming you with too much cheese or sauce. Carefully selected creative entrées highlighting the chef/owner’s rich Italian heritage and finesse. And a wine list with many wonderful, unique Italian wines not frequently found outside of Italy. Good service in comfortable surroundings. A brilliant departure from the usual tired, Italian offerings.

Some of the most authentic Italian cuisine I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing in Connecticut! All of the products used were so fresh, especially the mozzarella, and the pizza crusts were light but crispy. Chef Danilo’s passion goes into every dish he makes, and it does not go unnoticed. I thought the open-kitchen setting was really unique, and it was nice to see the chef chatting with the customers that were sitting there. Everything we had was absolutely incredible, and I really feel like I found a little piece of Italy in Connecticut. Looking forward to my next visit already!

True taste and flavors of Italy! Many of the ingredients and flavors have been personally selected and imported from different regions of Italy. The pizza closely resembles the Neopilitan Style Pizza with such a fluffy and light crust that is ready in just 90 seconds in the oven. It’s hard to choose a personal favorite but one great example of the authenticity of the flavors and ingredients is the Calabrese Pizza. It is topped with N’duja which is a spicy spreadable sausage found in the region of Calabria. I rarely find that ingredient here in the States. Each pizza is creative and unique. I recommend ordering 1 or 2 at a time and sharing them with the table. In addition, the appetizers are also creative and delicious. Strega is a great addition to downtown Milford. The staff and owners are super friendly and welcoming, providing a fun and casual environment. Strega is a must try!

We arrived early for our reservation and were promptly accommodated to and seated. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The food was delectable, from the Tuna Tar Tar, Polpo, and Meatballs; to fork- tender lamb and flavorful pasta in a homemade sauce. The scallops were a hit at the table The tiramisu is a game changer. The drinks were refreshing as well as strong. A warm and modern cohesive decor sets the mood for a good meal with good wine.
