We stopped at this place for a quick dinner on our way home. Ordering was quick and easy. We ordered the brisket platter and the burger with brisket. The covered porch had picnic table seating which was nice. However, when we received our meal, the brisket platter for $17 only had 2 slices of brisket which were only okay. They did not ask how we wanted the burger cooked which should have been a red flag. We should have specified because it was certainly cooked through. The side of Mac & cheese had a strong smoke flavor and the Mac salad was a mustard sweet recipe. The Mac salad being so different was probably the best surprise of the meal. Anything more than 2 slices of brisket and well-done burger would have made us enjoy our meal more.

It’s not fair that we can only give 5 stars, we would give 10 stars if we could. Everything about Streaking Moose BBQ is EXCELLENT! The wonderful location overlooking the lush landscape is so relaxing, the warm and accommodating owners are extremely friendly, the chic and rustic atmosphere is comfortable. But the food…the food is just AMAZING!! Flavorful, generous portions, well priced…we can’t wait to go back! You’re going to love it!!!!!

Had the brisket cheese steak sandwich. The brisket kind of got lost in the bread and I was underwhelmed by the sauces on the table. Next time I’ll try the meats plain with a few sides.

Everything we had was outstanding. Ribs including the rub were totally on point. Burnt ends melted in your mouth. Brisket cheese steak so good. Got there early for lunch and the owners let us sit down and order drinks. A great lunch. Can’t wait to go back.

Best BBQ that I’ve found in the northern US. It is seasonal though as the dining area is open to the outdoors. My husband and I like it so much we drove an hour out of our way to eat here again this year after we enjoyed it last summer. I’m from TX and I’m picky about brisket but this place does a great job. The burnt ends were our favorite. The ribs are good too. The meat falls right off of the bone and the dry rub is so flavorful I didn’t even need to add BBQ sauce.

This place is the real deal. The food is amazing and the staff could not be more kind. The chef clearly knows what he is doing. Hard to pick a favorite between the crispy burnt ends, delicious pulled pork, tender ribs, and more. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

Good BBQ place. I got the 1 meat and two sides. For meat I got brisket and for side I got potato salad and corn bread. The brisket was good. Loved their butt loving bbq sauce. The corn bread was warm and was good too. Potato salad was alright. The service was quick. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table.

I got the 1 meat (brisket) with 2 sides (potato salad & coleslaw) for $20. I was disappointed in the amount of food for the price and the flavor was nothing to write home about. The potato salad was mush with no zig but the coleslaw was one of the better parts of the meal. Their pops were just from a can and they didn’t have Coke. The restaurant runs in a cafeteria style and when clearing my tray, the garbage was nearly overflowing. Which makes me wonder why so much plastic is needed for my meal, all my food would have fit on one plate. But there was a bunch of plastic heading straight to the dump. You can play corn hole tho, that was fun.

Wanted to try this place for a while finally pulled in on a Friday at 5:30 and they have no chicken which takes out 1/4 of the menu and apps. They only sold cans of soda no fountain or mixed drinks. I watched my food sit under a heat lamp for 5 min with flys cruising all around. 2 sandwiches 1 side 2 sodas $50. Overall not impressed.
