Had the privilege of seeing a wedding here and it was absolutely amazing. Staff were so genuine and kind. The atmosphere was just wonderful. Everything was set up so nicely. It was all around a great experience. Will definitely be booking something in their beautiful space soon. I also had the opportunity to have brunch with my daughter on the Veranda and it was simply blissful.

First time there was going to the West Bar but just changed to opening at 4:00 pm but lunch is in the Stratford side enjoyed the new menu and got to sample the new sauces for pasta dishes very good stop by and try them out

I saw this restaurant online the pictures and menu look like a good option. Let me say this; I have been in the restaurant business for 50 years eating out around the world. I consider myself fair and forgiving, by far this is the worst restaurant experience I have ever experienced. Stratford Springs does not exist, instead some other atrocity exist. I entered with two hostesses? Sitting with their feet on the hostess station neve a hello, one finally got up and knocked the candy wrappers of the stack of menus and walked into the dinning room, so I followed.and was seated , I was the only one in the dinning room. 15 minutes later a server fro what seemed to be a private party stopped by and asked if I had been helped, then yelled the 50 feet back to the hostess and said someone needs to wait on me she was too busy . I think I will end here the experience did not improve including my meal. I had to walk my bill to the bar to pay, since the server never returned.

We was hoping to have a good experience but was so disappointed. The waitress told us when we were seating ourselves to a table that “we are just gonna have to wait a minute.”Then was extremely rude the whole time. We had to walk across the street to The west bar to get our own chips and salsa. She made sure everyone eating there knew she was the only waitress, and this was a Saturday evening. Food was bad and overpriced. We will not be returning.

Came here last summer with my wife for a dinner alone without kids. When we got in, it looked like a nice place, and thought we’d enjoy ourselves. Well, we were wrong. When we sat down at a table, we were completely ignored. The waitress and bartender were too busy chatting with the people drinking at the bar .We sat there 20 minutes, then got fed up and left. Apparently this establishment isn’t too worried about making money to completely ignore customers.

Took a weekend vacation with my kids to Oglebay. Was trying to discover a new restaurant in the area. Found this place online and the variety on the menu peeked our interest. We waited 5-10 minutes before someone noticed we needed seated in an empty restaurant aside from a well know older couple in the back corner. They attempted to help us find the working staff. The waitress seating us that finally showed from the upstairs with one or two other girls appeared to be under the influence of something to say the least. We ordered food. The appetizers we wanted we were told we could not have because the artichokes has just been delivered and needed an hour to cook. The vinegar mixture used for dipping the bread is awful. My salad tasted wonderful for the first couple bites but there were so many gnats that one drowned in my ranch dressing. That meal was over! We ordered lamb chops and steak cooked medium. When they finally came out all of the food was cold and they were raw. Even after I asked them to put it back in they came back out raw. The waitress was accommodating and removed from the bill however her sobriety is still a question. Once again let me say that we were the only people in the restaurant (older couple had since left) and you wouldn’t know it but the lack of staff shown or pace of food served.

I usually ignore bad experiences, and I am not one to give harshly negative reviews. But this place probably falls into the category of “worst dining experience of my entire life.” I admit that our party was large, but a reservation had been made weeks in advance, and we were just about the only people in the restaurant. It took two hours to get our food, which was cold, and even if it was hot I don’t think it would have helped. We received 12 dinner rolls for 17 people. My entree came with different sides than what was indicated on the menu. I had to ask repeatedly for a knife and had to refill my table’s water by myself. Just really awful all around.

Went here for the Thanksgiving buffet and it was absolutely horrible. First of all the table that we were seated at for four people was uneven, they had packets of sugar underneath the legs which didn’t help at all. Also, The top of the table rotated!! They didn’t do a very good job of keeping fresh food on the buffet and it seemed what food was there was cold. I can’t comment on the turkey, mashed potatoes or gravy because there was none there. All I can say about the food is the green beans and coffee were good!!
