Michael was a fantastic server and knew the menu inside and out. The staff were extremely accommodating with our request to move outside, since inside was too loud for us. But the porch was lovely – just be aware that the heaters are strong! The amuse-Bouche was tasty, as were the cocktails. The squash bisque was on point, and the winter salad was gorgeous. My husband loved his steak, but honestly, the snapper was underwhelming. The pear dessert was refreshing, but the chocolate cake was a little much for me personally.

We had a wonderful experience at Stories. My husband said his steak cut like butter and the potatoes were divine. I had the roasted chicken and even the white meat was juicy.

A very nice restaurant setting, but what really set this place apart is the superb food and service. Chef Dan really know how to make a guest feel welcome.

What a wonderful experience. The service, the wine, the food, all five stars. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our waitress was attentive and abundantly friendly, and the rest of the staff, including the manager were all incredible and making sure we were happy each step of the way. So far, my favorite fine dining spot in Austin.

Meh. It was ridiculously hot in here last night. Menu is fairly limited. My husband’s steak was flavorful but my tuna was so bland. Sangria was horrible (thankfully swapped it out). For the price point, I expect a lot more.

We truly enjoyed the dinning experience at stories- ranch kitchen. Loved the ambiance, our server did a great job making our experience wonderful by tending to our specific needs and answering questions about the menu and attentiveness and charming attitude. The food was flavorful. If you like complexity of texture and flavors as foodies, this place is definitely for you to try.

I was so excited to try this restaurant after spending a relaxing day at the spa but was extremely disappointed. I had the hydroponic greens and brown buttered filet. My husband had seared scallops and the waygua steak. Each plate had amazing potential but poorly executed. My salad was under dressed and my husband’s scallops smelled VERY fishy which indicates not as fresh as they could be. Both of our steaks were under seasoned and honestly smelled weird – potentially old meat. All I know is we skipped dessert and I had a stomachache later that evening. Service was great and atmosphere nice but food fell flat.
