We were there this past weekend, 8/26, after our daughters soccer tournament. The food was great so on day 2 of the tournament, we came back for more. The pizza was awesome and not greasy at all. The sandwiches were amazing!!!! I was a little skeptical of a $15 sandwich but it was so big that it feed me and my wife for lunch and dinner. We got the turkey sandwich. Subway should take lessons from Stoney’s. Another great part was that we could order our food and go next door to the brewery and they brought over our food. Great family owned business and they took care of our large party of soccer girls. Thank you again, we will be back!!!!!!

I’m too impressed with everything about this place to not post a review. So I’ll start at the beginning-

I’m not the type to leave a review especially a bad one. I accidentally ordered close to their closing time. They decided to give me two half-cooked pizzas instead of cancelling our order. I even tried cooking it to finish it off and the pizza was still doughy and yeasty. Not only that but the delivery driver flagged me down through my window to go out to the street to grab my pizza instead of bringing it to door.

Wow. One of the best pizzas I’ve had on the west coast. Crust is cooked very well and doesn’t have a lot of salt. The sauce tastes more traditional than most and they have a distinct cheese combination. The sausage has the appearance and taste to be more homemade than from a bag. Highly, highly recommend. Also the brewery next door is really good too.

I really had high hopes for this pizza based on reviews but the pastrami pizza was not good. There was only a little bit of pastrami and a ton of mustard. My original pastrami pizza spot closed and I was hoping this would be my new spot but you don’t taste the pastrami at all. Maybe some of the other pizza is good. My daughter had cheese and enjoyed it but the pastrami is not. The only thing that partially saved it was the fact that I added pepperoni to one side which was plentiful and made up for the lack of pastrami.

First time here. Was very disappointed in the product I got from the photos I saw on Google and their website. Almost no topping….cheese or pineapple. A couple of slices don’t even have toppings but a sprinkling of cheese in the middle. On top of that pizza wasn’t ready when I got there and when they saw it was ready the told me pickup time was 18:11….which was the far end time of the “ready window” given when I ordered it. Mind you, I was less than five minutes from the end of that window when I arrived. Didn’t end up leaving with my order till 18:20. When I saw how few toppings were on it I should have stopped and ask them to remake it, but I wasn’t about to wait another half hour for that happen for a $13 pizza.

Quick stop to grab a slice (or 2) of pizza after leaving Sea Legs. I wasn’t really impressed with the cash register blocking the door but it’s kinda take out only or sit in the few seats on their patio. The cashier wasn’t too outgoing so she didn’t provide much help, since it was our first time there.

I know this is a pizza place but I actually decided to try the wings. I’m glad I did. I’m sure the pizza is great too but the wings were awesome! I tried the garlic Parmesan wings and they were so good. Like some of the best I’ve had. The flavor was incredible. Overall it’s a great little restaurant and I would definitely recommend it. Maybe I’ll try the pizza next time too but I would for sure get the wings again.

The pizza is so delicious and I absolutely love the crust! We always get half pepperoni and half barbecue chicken and it’s the best with ranch!

THE BEST PIZZA ON THE WEST COAST!!!! Stoney’s does pizza like the old school guys do in NYC. Their crust is amazing and the sauce is super fresh with no sugar added to it. We also got the calzone and it’s huge! So happy we found this slice of heaven in Huntington Beach!
