I would like to think Carolyn for hosting the wings of freedom animal rescue , Wine, bourbon , beer food tasting fundraiser ( And the tastings was not skimpy it was a meaningful serving that was well worth the money ) $25 included 5 tastings and a pulled pork sandwich that was to die for . corn bread that was unbelievable with homemade coleslaw. I would also like to thank Jimmy for allowing us to have this event at his venue. Along with a free live band

This place is a local hangout spot. When owned and operated by Jimmy Gay, it was pretty great. On nights there were bands, it was busy, sometimes packed, and especially fun. Under other ownerships and leases, I removed a star and would like to have removed them all under one in particular who was awful, in my experiences. I don’t live up there anymore, so I can’t say what it is like these days. I’ll only go to see live bands. One huge negative for me that keeps it down in stars is the fact that there is a fabulous patio for the smokers to kill themselves in private, but they and the bar staff refuse to allow it to be as such. Instead, smokers still congregate at the other 2 front entrances of the bar and the staff has all 3 doors open almost all the time! It’s a heat and a/c excuse as to why the place is always full of cigarette smoke. I could say a lot more, but I’m not going to, about the other stuff that goes on there. It’s not the kind of place I would recommend per se. It’s the kind of place you go to meet up with friends and party. Socially, it is an excellent place to have a great time. I have always felt very welcome and pretty safe going there, even as a single woman, I have never felt scared for my safety. Mind you, I am from a couple miles away, and I worked there years ago, so I know a lot of people there. Even as an employee, in a bar, late nights, early mornings, I was never bothered by anyone while closing up alone. It’s the type of place people go after work and they hang out there for the whole night socializing with everyone else there. That’s actually the reason it gets 4 starts – everyone is welcome and included. I feel like that’s important when choosing a place to hang out.

Terrible, as simple as I can put it. If the employees don’t hear positive remarks about the establishment they turn into the rudest people. I cannot begin to fathom what kind of business treats their customers in such a way, it would be better if the food was more than mediocre, but sadly it did not meet even my lowest expectations. To be completely honest, I would recommend any fast food joint before this place simply terrible.

Everything was fine for a typical bar. Food is God awful though. Seems like the cook took everything from the freezer, nuked it to defrost it, then fried it. Chicken wings were like rubber. Just awful. Then when my cousin complained, the bartender got salty and then took the food from my buddy that was trying to salvage what we paid for. Awful attitude. Never seen a worker take food from someone trying to eat what they paid for. Will never go back.

Only have been once, fair warning. Stopped in for a beer and some tacos. Received the entire tub of salsa and sour cream (which I believe they were handing out to everyone who ordered) and were kicked out before we finished our meal due to the owner being in an “argument with an ex”… It is now called Excalibur, we are hoping under new management.

If I could give negative stars I would. This place is beyond RACIST! My boyfriend came to shut off their power & low and behold, these racists file a FALSE claim against him saying he called one of the workers disgusting names! This got him FIRED! He is a man with bills! Just because they were irresponsible and couldn’t pay their bills on time, they told disgusting lies that lead to him being let go. If these are the kind of things they do, I am not sure what kind of horrendous business they are running over there. You guys should be ashamed of yourself. DISGUSTING!!!
