I came in about 30 minutes before closing time (which I usually try not to do to servers). Jackie is the server and she’s extremely pleasant. Well mannered and smiling, even though it’s a Saturday night and almost closing time. I ordered Firecracker shrimp for appetizer and ribeye for the main entree.

Our favorite place for a burger and salad. Outside by the stone fireplace is scenic and comfy.

I will not knock this restaurant for one employee. The food was great , our server was mediocre but the rest of the staff were on their A game making up for her poor service skills. We came in on a Saturday and it wasn’t slow but it wasn’t extremely busy either, other servers were checking on us more than our actual server (Liz). You could tell she was not genuine about ANYTHING she was saying and almost was talking to my wife and I like we were children. She brought us the bill and it wasn’t until days later I realized our bill and what she charged us were two separate amounts which was more than our actually bill. The hostess and other staff along with the food will be the reason we return but will definitely request a different sever in order to enjoy our expiernce.

My wife and I have been to StoneFire American Grill several times now. Each time the food and service have been exceptional. The fresh ingredients and attention to detail make for a great dining experience. We have had wonderful experiences with the servers (Especially Liz & Destiny) going above and beyond to meet our requests. We would strongly recommend this for either a romantic dinner or just a night out for fine dining with family/friends.

Service was woefully slow & a small fruit fly was crawling around in my salad. We had to ask for bread (which was nothing to write home about) and our waitress disappeared for twenty minutes at a time. Drink refills were few and far between. Steak was very good but the menu as a whole is WAY overpriced for what you get and the selections are minimal. Our dinner took over two hours from start to finish. The manager was accommodating but seemed overwhelmed. The highlight of the evening was a delightful hostess named Laken who did what she could for us by tracking down the waitress (more than once.)

I found this place online traveling for work and gave it a try…I am so glad I did! It is so easy to get to from I-20 and the only problem with the menu is that you will have a hard time picking what you want. My meal was awesome from the dinner salad through the dessert. It was so good I actually told the owner I thought about moving my family down there just to eat once a week.

We’ve been several times and taken many friends. It’s always fun, the food is great, and the atmosphere dances that fine line between fun & friendly, and elegant.

First of all, my wife had a salad with oil and vinegar dressing. The oil was rancid so she could not eat it. She ordered the fried green tomatoes and got 3 slices of battered and fried tomatoes but it’s definitely not worth the cost of $7.00. We both ordered Tiger Shrimp as the main entree and if those were Tiger Shrimp they were babies because they were the size of regular shrimp. Not worth the price of $20.00 per entree. The Gator Bites were a small portion and folks I get a much larger portion at restaurants in Florida for a much lower price. The dessert was a Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie and that was very good so not all hope was lost. This was just not worth the price I paid. This was very overpriced. The atmosphere was good. The place was clean. Just not worth the price.

I had been here several times and the manager and menu keep changing and NOT for the best. They used to have on Wednesday night, 2 salads, 2 wines and pizza for $16.00. Then $18.00, $20.00 and finally $22.00. The menu was great, back in the day but, now they keep changing everything and the last sign on the door said closed for renovations. That usually means going out of business to us laymen. They should have left it alone but, you can’t get most of what your looking for now AND they were selling their pizza oven. I can’t say I’ll return. Too bad because I live right up the street.

A+ Service and Food. My boyfriend made reservations for my birthday 4/11 for dinner at Stonefire Grill on Spears Creek Road in Columbia SC. Awesome experience as soon as you walk in the the door. Our reservation was for 7pm and we arrived at 6:50 and were promptly seated. Superb service from the hostess, to Laura our waitress, to the food. We enjoyed the Stonefire grill chicken and loaded mashed potatoes. Unlike other restaurants, these we’re truly loaded and oh so tasty. I didn’t know I was being set up though. To my surprise, my boyfriend had worked with the staff to propose that night. They went out of their way to make it and unforgettable experience. Even the chef came out to congratulate us! I wish I could give more stars but this place is the the total package! Thank you StonefireGrill staff from the Cohens.
