Food is hit or miss,we have had great meals here and terrible as well, no consistency and I believe lack of staffing effects the quality. Our food on the weekend was better than during the week of our stay, the staff is absolutely amazing, kind, attentive and very personable. Any issues we had were taken care of by the great staff.

The food is on par with frozen meals, the prices are high, and the wait times for your orders are abysmal. The staff is friendly, and many people will find the rustic decor appealing. There aren’t any other options without driving 20 minutes away, and they’re definitely exploiting this fact.

Ordered their buffet. ALL meats were over cooked. Prime rib looked like dry roast, chicken was stringy and white. Server was nice but never cleaned a single dish from our table. The dessert table was great and that is the only reason for 2nd star. Talked to server about it and no options were given.

The food is below subpar in comparison to pricing and hype. I was so disappointed. We spent 4 days at the resort, so we attempted multiple meals at different times of day. We finally got lucky with dinner, a plain chicken salad, and turkey bacon and apple wrap.. One good meal .. hundreds of dollars across 4 days. Keep that in mind when traveling to Stonewall Resort.

Encourage restaurant staff to seat single diners at a nice table when the dining room is virtually empty. I was seated at a 2 person table right next to the buffet area. It was my birthday-70th-and though there were few in the dining room the female host said she needed to be sure there was a clean table when I asked if I could sit closer to the window. Wait staff, especially in the am, are terrific!

Poor gf/df options. They claim to be accommodating, but it’s not possible when all potatos are pre-packaged and not gf/df for $58/meal. Steak was roughly 4-6oz and not filling for 5’2″ adult. Steak and seafood was dry.

Great view! Buffet ($34) is terrible – poor selection, worse quality. (Hospital cafeteria is 2x better.) Desserts in particular are offensively bad.

Supper was great, but the next morning several in the party left the restaurant after 8am without breakfast and they were there at 7am when the restaurant opened. Several didn’t show up for breakfast because they were out too late the night before, they were the smart ones.

We are staying here in a cabin. We have eaten twice here this week. The restaurant is warm and inviting. The staff are personable and professional. The meal was wonderful and tonight we tried the buffet. The food was delicious the prime rib was excellent as were the Salmon the lobster bisque, the sides and deserts. The cheesecake was mouth watering. I highly recommend coming here.
